Reviews for La Casa de la Tia II LLC in Jackson Township, NJ
We started going to La Casa de la Tía back in 2020? faithful costumers until about 2 months ago. I went with my family (total... of 5 adults) and with a 6 week old baby (my first outing since having my baby)? the waitress insisted on seating us on a tablefor 4 against a wall. I kept on telling her we were 5 and had a big stroller? she still didn?t listen or gave us an option. I donot know what she expected us to do with the newborn and the stroller, there was 1 table for 4 free and I believe 2 tables for 6available? since she didn?t listen to us, I told my husband we needed to leave and go somewhere else. The waitress still didn?tcare and she rather lose the costumers than try to accommodate us (I still don?t know what she expected us to do with thestroller and the newborn)? my husband decided he would never go back? I went back about 2 weeks ago (after 2 months) and spokeabout the incident with the owner after finishing our food. The owner justified the waitress and went on speaking about how heallows his waitresses to charge for tip on people?s credit cards if they do not leave good tip because they?re there working andhow some people go there with kids and McDonald?s bags? 1. I still don?t know how either of these situation are related to mycomplaint since I don?t do neither of them? 2. I completely understand waitresses make their money on tips but as per myunderstanding, tips are costumery but not legally required in NJ so the fact that some clients may be getting charge more thanwhat they are signing their receipt for is concerning? anyways, after speaking to ny husband about my complaint and the ownersresponse, we don?t feel like he took us seriously and that he doesn?t care about their clients. The food is okay, the prices arehigh, we once went to pay and they had charged more for the guacamole and went I told them that that wasn?t the price on themenu; they said their prices increase and the menus weren?t updated yet (I didn?t argue and paid but Read more

Picked up some catering for a party this weekend and La Casa de la Tia went above and beyond. The food was incredible everybody... loved it especially the Empanadas. They gave so much food and sides for the price we were shocked. Everyone working there is sonice and the restaurant is impeccably clean. We highly recommend trying them out! Read more
Excellent meal. Wait staff was great. I have a very strict way of eating. Our waiter was very patient and helpful with my... questions. Everything came out as we ordered. I had the carne asada platter. Beef ribs and sausage comes on it. The ribs weregreat, sausage was good, steak, a little dry. But the platter comes with a side of cactus and when to put the 2 together, it'sgreat. I also got a 2nd meal. Mole chicken... Outstanding. Now take a fork full of cactus and the steak, dip it into the molesauce, OH MY.... that combination should be on the menu... hell, just give me a side BOWL of mole sauce !!! We are going backsoon.... Good choice for Mexican Cuisine. We ordered Guacamole, seafood soup, Bistek ala Mexicano and churros. All came out good but we... enjoyed the Seafood Soup the most. Good service and ambience is nice too. Read more
Happened to be in Jackson and stumbled onto this place. What a gem. Quaint but welcoming and the quality of the food is great.... Prices are modest so this is a great deal for mid week dinner or even casual weekend dinning. We had the burrito and the chorizoquesadilla and they were both excellent. Portion sizes great and the staff was prompt and courteous. If your in the area stopin, you won?t be disappointed. Read more
