THEY CALL THIS IRISH FOOD? Let me start by saying I am not one of those uppity jerks who expects 5-star food. I quite enjoy... casual pubs like this one. Let me also say that this place has so much potential to be great. Sadly my experience was not goodbecause the food was bad. PART ONE: I ordered cottage pie and I expected minced meat, peas, carrots, mashed potatoes on top,spices and some gravy..... What I got was minced meat that had no spices (very bland) with mashed potatoes on top. There were noother vegetables. There was no spice or any kind of seasoning. There was no gravy. The minced meat was dry like sand. The mashedpotatoes were like the kind that you buy in a box and mix with water. I had to go out of my way to ask for gravy and althoughour server was nice, she brought back some sort of watered down red pasta type sauce instead of traditional dark brown / beefgravy. I traveled with 2 other people who had a similar experience. Overall the food was very disappointing. PART TWO: I wasserved warm beer..... should I say more? SUMMARY: This place has so much potential to be a great Irish restaurant. I see allthese reviews praising their pizza which makes me wonder why they brand themselves as Irish when clearly they do Italian pizzabetter. The servers did their jobs well and the general atmosphere was very nice. To bring this review to an end..... I wish thefood was prepared better. Simply adding a few vegetables and using better quality fresh potatoes would have made a world ofdifference. Read more

Great fun. Great food. Great friends. Fun music. Awesome, friendly bartenders!

My family and I have been coming here for years whenever we get together. We're a pretty large crew (15+) and find this... restaurant great for gatherings. They have a side-room which can be prebooked, but usually we can find enough space by sittingin large adjacent standard tables. We've always ordered personal pizzas and pitchers of beer - both of which were excellent,delivered quickly (despite our party size). This place has been around for decades and for good reason. Ended up eating here twice during our stay. We got in late on a Saturday, hungry after a 12 hour drive. We walked in at 945 pm,... after finding everything else closed. Not only did they not give us attitude about ordering 15 minutes before kitchen closed,they joked with us, and were so friendly. We cale back for a dinner on Friday, and the food both times was awesome. Great place,friendly people, fantastic food. Read more

Great food and staff. Pulled pork with onion rings was amazing. The live music was enjoyable and well put on.

This restaurant came highly recommended by a bunch of locals! Made the trip for dinner the other day and was very happy overall... with the visit. Friendly bartender n staff. Great Shepherds Pie. A solid, filling portion. And there was a wall of signedcelebrity photos so the place has to be awesome! Can't Wait to go back. The pizzas sounded like a hot item! Read more

Took my Girlfriend there for her birthday dinner and they sat us in super fast on a busy Sunday night. The Cauliflower Poppers... where great! They had this very light breading on them! The sauce that comes with them is tasty as well. We looked around andsaw everyone ordering pizza so we had to try them out! The pizza is amazing ! I love how they give you cheese to sprinkle onyourself! And honestly the price is super good we paid 42$ for A root beer float and a couple of sodas a App and 2 pizzas! It?sway cheaper then Applebee?s and the quality of food is way better ! Plus there?s live music ! Riley the musician is supertalented! Would definitely come back in the near future :) Read more
