Went here a few months ago on a visit to Jackson, MS, and I have to say this place is just awesome. Love the log cabin... atmosphere, I can only imagine what it would look like in the winter. The staff was very friendly, they know how to make youfeel right at home. And the food is delicious! I can not wait to come back to this place! The food and service was very good and the restaurant was clean. Every employees that I came in contact with was pleasant. I... went around 1:30pm, after lunch crowd. The buffet was very clean and the food was fresh. I loved the yams and the friend chickenwas delicious. The desert bar could use some work; not much to choose from. Also didn?t like that lunch was $14 and had to payfor drink separately. That?s quite a bit for lunch even buffet especially if you don?t consume a lot of food. The only thing Isaw was that they could remodel women?s bathroom. It?s very old but it was clean. Seems they also have a separate buildingbeside the main restaurant. I didn?t notice hours but it was t open when I was there. I recommend having lunch here if in thearea. It?s West Jackson but very safe! Read more

Great place to beat the heat and eat. For under 20 bucks, I really can't complain. No crab but they got beans and cornbread.
