Ordered a club sandwich that comes with turkey and ham. Asked for no ham double turkey extra mayo. I received a mayo, lettuce,... tomatoe ,bacon sandwich. Could not tell what the extremely thin meat was. I returned sandwich and was Not Offered to orderanything else. No manager approached, no one asked what was wrong or anything. Ice cream lovers dream! Come hungry! Staple of my childhood but haven't been back for 20 years. Happily brought my husband here... after the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Place was hopping. Took a little while to get our menus but we found seats quickly. The ladywho took our order and later the lady who was at the register were both very kind and friendly! I could tell they were workinghard and had been there all day (we arrived at 9:20PM and they shut off the neon open sign at 9:45PM). Kudos to them for theircheerfulness! Place is updated, fresh and welcoming. Menu has every flavor of ice cream and some vegan options. We ordered a BLTand fries, a pistachio almond scoop (huge for one scoop) and a strawberry parfait (massive). See photos. Flavors were reallygood! Not a spongy, weird taste. Such a neat, unique place. Glad to see they're still open after all these years. Will bring thekiddos next time...they'll be geeked...this is THE place for sharing a bowl of ice cream! Thank you!! Read more
Giving em five, just cuz they do pup cups with whipped cream and the scoops are softball sized. Do with they'd have sample sized... (regular scoops for variety. ALSO, please stop using Styrofoam Read more
Love the Jackson Parlour! Best place for Ice cream or any comfort food! The atmosphere is wonderful and they definitely are not... afraid to give you GIANT scoops of ice cream for a GREAT price! Read more
The food was good and they give you a ton if ice cream. The bowls are huge. I watched many people walk out without finishing all... of their ice cream. Also the service was ok that's why I'm rating it 3 stars. There was 8 of us and it took well over 45 minutesto get everything we ordered. Also we only received 1 refill and that was about the time we were leaving. Things I wouldrecommend are the peanut butter cup sundae and the fries. Both of those were delicious. Read more
Here in Michigan for a temporary duty. This spot was highly recommended by other co-workers! First visit was a disappointment!... The pictures looked great on Yelp but actually look sub-standard in person. Looked dirty. We stood at the take-out line for anhour. Four sets of customers left because the line was taking so long. The employees were all young teens. Only one was takingcustomer orders upfront (Joshua). He did an awesome job. The manager was at the register and she saw a long line but didn?toffer help or apologize for the wait and looong line! Never seen such a terrible manager. Options: so many options on the menu.There?s something for everyone in my opinion. Ice Cream: got the Snicker Parfait. Soooo good. But I think they overloaded thecaramel and fudge. Still good though. My friend got Caramel Carabou, I tasted it it was so tasty. If you like Caramel that?s theone for you. They received two stars because manager was terrible and we waited over an hour. Nice old fashioned type ice cream shop/ restaurant. The ice cream scoops are HUGE. I got 2 scoops bcus I thought it was regular... size. They give u enough ice cream that you can share it with 3 other ppl. The staff seemed to be nice and friendly. Not sure Iwould ever be back in this area again but I would go if I was near. Read more
Favorite place to get ice cream in Jackson! Had a single scoop of chocolate ice cream the size of a softball, a... strawberry/banana milkshake, and some fries and tenders with the kids. Ice cream was fantastic. Felt like the milkshakedefinitely needed to be blended more as it tasted a little bland until I found all the large chunks of banana in the bottom. Fries were great, and tenders were good, though they were a bit dry. Service was friendly and helpful. Read more
