Had a strange, not great, breakfast experience. Came in to an empty restaurant, which being used to Roxy or West End should... have been a sign that things might not be spectacular. Coffee was pretty bad. I don't expect diner coffee to be great but this is definitely lowest tier. After ordering, I was brought a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. I don't really understandwhy - at breakfast those flavors aren't really what I'm looking for. I tried a couple bites and it was okay - not bad, notgreat. Then, just as bizarre, the bowl was taken away without explanation. I really have no idea what that was about. Countryfried steak skillet - eggs were overcooked and not seasoned at all. The fried steak was adequate, not great or terrible. Thehash browns were well seasoned and good. I did not eat a ton as I wasn't impressed, just brought most of it home for myanimals. The place had a very chaotic energy for me being the only customer, as two TVs with sound on were competing with aloud radio from the kitchen. I was not a fan. Service was friendly. Was given a punch card for 11th meal free but I can't seemyself coming back when Roxy and West End exist and are superior in the same price range. *************REPLIES TOBELOW*************** I came in at 820 based on timestamp of a picture I took and sent my partner. This place is a hidden gem. The breakfast is top notch and some of the best you can get in Jackson Mi. I always go for the... stuffed French toast or pancakes. Today I decided to try out their lunch and ordered a cheeseburger and was not disappointed.Fresh ingredients and great flavor. ???? I also love that they always give you a complimentary soup no matter the time of dayor what your order consists of. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Jackson. Read more

My waffle was very good, but my bf's sausage pattie was not. He said it was all gristle. Food was not hot enough.

What a great breakfast! Super yummy, cozy and quiet atmosphere. Excellent service. Will be returning!
