This is a favorite of mine! Food is always hot and delicious! Staff is friendly.
Oh the travesty of the down hill decline of this particular restaurant it has just gotten worse over the years. Upon entry no... greetings from the employee's, not a big deal order taker/cashier was less then friendly. On the counter there was a mix betweendried up soft drink and wet soft drink. The floors are sticky n feel as if the same mop that is used to mop the kitchen to mopthe lobby. Gross. Upon picking seating we find multiple tables with crumbs or left over food from previous customers as if thetables hadn't been wiped down the entire time they've been open. Now on to what you all were waiting for the food. My son and Iordered a sampler platter (#13) and a (#2) 2 PC chicken we had fries and coleslaw as sides the protein was hot not steaming asit should've been. Fries were okish till they were cold as stone almost tasted as a redunk to heat them so they didn't have tomake a new batch. Anyways in ending I've loved LJS most of my life. Didn't get all my food and the food I got was terrible it was like the fish was recooked hard and rubbery. First time I ever had... terrible food there. Tried calling 8 times no answer went to a recording then hung up. Read more
Totally blown away and caught off guard. This was amazing! Never been to a LJS before but someone told me last week how great... this particular location is so I thought I'd give it a go, and I am so glad I did! Jackson was as busy as could be and all therestaurants looked packed and as I pulled up to long John's it was totally empty and I had no wait to order. Service wasfriendly and smiling and made sure we had everything from condiments to napkins and straws (barely get that kind of fast foodservice anywhere anymore!) and the food was ready in a snap. I couldn't believe how good everything was. FRESH is the wordthat comes to mind. Never thought I'd feel I need to review a fast food joint on the Google but y'all gotta give this place ashot, it was so much better than any other fish I've had lately.
