Staff is awesome. Food is horrible. Everything from the slaw, the beans and the salad we?re all sweet. I got fried biscuits,... again they are sweet ? coated with sugar. The ribs chicken and brisket we?re all dry and overcooked. Also, very overpriced. Wegot a salad, the smorgasbord, burnt ends and hush puppies. It was $80. Had to wait to go. Always packed. Worth the wait. Steaks were delicious. So good, we went back the next night. Grilled cheese... with brisket was wonderful. Food was ok, didn't care for the hasbrown casserole. Rubs were tasty, brisket was very tender but not much flavor. Very dark in... the restaurant which made it hard to read menu, puppy jam was great, good apple butter. Kinda pricey for what you get. Read more
Fried cheese curds had zero flavor, brisket was nothing special, sweet tea was very weak, Mac n cheese was dreadful. The servers... seemed confused by who was supposed to do what or who had which tables. Would give zero stars. If they are smoking the meat onsite, why can't you smell the smoke when you pull into the parking lot or when you walk into the building? Not wasting my moneyhere again. Read more
It took us over an hour to receive our food and the restaurant was not crowded. There are way too many items on the menu. The... restaurant really needs to have 5-7 great entrees and do them very well instead of having 20+ items that are just mediocre! Read more
First what we got it was over priced. The cheese curds are beer battered which make them not that good. I had the crush Cubano... which is a burger a Cubano isn't a burger. The smoked quesadilla is basically a flat taco with all toppings on the side. Itwasnt even grilled like a normal quesadilla. I felt it was a Mexican restaurants attempt at BBQ and it feeled. I got friedbiscuits and apple butter as a side and they were as hard as a rock. The only things that stood out as great was the applebutter and quacamole. Read more
