Been a year living in Ithaca and this was my first time trying out Zocalo inside the mall. I would say Zocalo is the only proper... restaurant they have in Ithaca Mall? The staff welcomed us and let us sit while they serve a plate of nachos with salsa saucefor free. The food was great as I, myself, is a newbie for Mexican food while my boyfriend is more familiar with it. Myboyfriend got the Street Tacos with grilled steak and I ordered the Arroz con Pollo which was a dish of grilled chickensmothered with cheese sauce over rice. The cheese sauce was a game changer and I really love the taste of the guacamole, sofresh! The portion is super wise with such an affordable price. Came with a side of black beans and a side of white rice. My friend got shredded beefchimichangas, with Mexican Coca Cola. Would recommend to anyone. We had a little trouble finding, as it is inside the Shops atIthaca Commons. Would recommend entering using mall entrance next to Michaels (craft store). Bathroom appeared clean, butdidn't smell clean. Got a kick out of the Monet hanging over the bathroom sink in the women's room. Read more

My husband and I stopped in just for a drink late this afternoon. The bartender was very welcoming and brought chips and... delicious salsa to us when we sat down at the bar. My Margarita was wonderful and the price was very reasonable. We willdefinitely be back!!! Read more
