Not good. There are better Mexican/Latin American places in Ithaca. Give them your money instead. We ordered an assortment of... tacos. Even with the weekly special, it was still far more expensive than any other taco around town, and they were also some ofthe worst. I can't speak for the authenticity, but I don't need to spend years in Bolivia to know undersalted food when I tasteit. The price is just a further slap in the face. Service was alright. WOW! Whatta great find. The food menu is small but the tequila menu is 3 times the size!! With that said I am thankful for the... small food menu bcuz it would have been impossible to figure out what I wanted. The food, my gosh the food...so good. If you area tequila person, this is your new home!!! The food, the cocktails, the service made for a perfect experience. The place was soclean and all of the employees are so accommodating. Loved their tacos but the menu is quite limited. We got chicken tacos and they were delicious. Good salsa bar too. The 18%... service charge on the bill was very confusing. The waitress said it was because the restaurant wants to pay a living wage.That's great, but why put that on the customers who are already asked to leave a tip? Really great Mexican food in Ithaca! Loved all their delicious homemade salsas and guac. Enchiladas were hot, cheesy, crispy and... delicious. Service was excellent. The automatic 18% gratuity at the end is a little awkward, especially when they say you cantip more and you have to do it in front of them. I always tip 20%+ for a good meal, but others at my table didn?t like thepolicy. I think they could do without it. Read more

The hostess was very helpful seating our party of 4. Our server was was courteous. However the Chicken Enchiladas I ordered... arrived a few degrees above room temperature. I sent it back to be heated. After 10 minutes it arrived warm. I decided to eat itthat way. I have eaten Enchiladas in many restaurants many times in Mexico, San Francisco, NYC, and know how they should and cantaste when properly prepared. This meal was awful. I couldn?t find the chicken. The tortillas were thick and soggy. The cheesethat thickly covered everything was stringy and tasteless. I?m not sure if it was cheese at all. The black beans were tastelessand the rice tasted as if it came out of a can. I asked to see the manager who gave me a 3rd degree interrogation before sheoffered to split the cost of the dish, she never apologized. Read more

As a twin myself, and a lover of tacos, I really wanted to like this place. Honestly, the food is perfectly acceptable, if under... seasoned (especially the beans). What isn?t acceptable is having to wait over an hour for two tacos and beans. Honestly, Iunderstand that it was a busy day and they seemed a little short staffed, but at the very least someone should check on thecustomers and update us as to when we can expect the food! Two tables behind me ended up leaving without having had anythingbecause of this, and seemed extremely annoyed. I decided to just wait it out and ended up being at this restaurant over 90minutes in total. Like I said the food isn?t even bad, but I can get the exact same if not better tacos for $8 in 5 minutes nearme, so I?m completely confounded as to what makes this take so much time. Fantastic restaurant. Even on a Saturday night you won't likely have an issue getting a seat. Great selection of tacos.... Everything I had was delicious, and the margaritas are great. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere inside iscomfortable. Some outdoor seating available. Read more
