A good breakfast burrito is very hard to find in the area. So when we found Paseo we were through the roof excited to try it. We... ordered two breakfast burritos to-go this morning. While it was a good burrito, they forgot the ?breakfast? portion of theburrito. There wasn?t any eggs or hash browns. It was essentially a fajita burrito. Pretty disappointed and unsatisfied. Had high hopes for this place, but it sadly fell short. Ordered the prawn sandwich, the famous Caribbean roast sandwich, and... Caribbean fries. Both sandwiches had an entire onion on them and were light on all other ingredients (literally a single pieceof lettuce and 4 shrimp on the prawn sandwich). The bread was nicely toasted and overall it had nice spice flavor (I got level 3spice). There was nothing caribbean about the fries and the sauce they came with was super bland. Overall, I recommend you skipthis spot and drive into Seattle for Bongos. Read more

Wet and juicy again. I have been loving Paseo's Caribbean roast sandwich in it's various incarnations for over a decade. I have... been sad that at other locations they seem to have been getting drier over the years. Not the case here. Very wet and amazing.Wet napes required. Read more

My coworker was gushing about the sandwich she had at Paseo in Issaquah. That made me want to check it out so I could bring home... dinner (lazy Thursday so I wanted a no cook solution ????). OMG - the pork sandwich was so good! The pork was moist andflavorful. The cooked onions were exactly how I like my onions cooked. The slices of jalapeño were little surprises that mademe want to eat more. The spicy aioli had just the right amount of spices for me and it made a pretty nice dip for the tostonesthat I also ordered. I also bought the Caribbean Plato with pork - it was delicious too. I would say that the plato was alighter version of the sandwich with rice, salad and corn on the cob to help cut the richness of the pork. I will definitely goback to try more food at Paseo! Thank you Paseo staff for your friendliness and wonderful food. ???? Read more

I used to go to Paseo in Fremont when I lived in Seattle, so having recently moved to Issaquah I was excited to hear that they... opened a shop here. However, I feel like the quality is just not the same and it's gotten a little overhyped. I ordered theCaribbean roast and they didn't put any jalapenos in - not sure if they forgot or they ran out. Huge crowd at lunch so there wasa bit of a wait after ordering. The sandwich itself was very greasy and messy, which is fine but just be warned... the greasebled through the paper bag and onto my car seats. I wish they would do half sandwiches as it's a lot of meat and bread for oneperson. The flavor was good overall but a little too plain for me, it tasted a little too much like regular old pulled pork thatI make in my crockpot at home. Maybe more sauce would've helped, or maybe it was just the missing jalapenos. Still, probably oneof the better lunch options in Issaquah. Read more
