Reviews for Famous Kitchen in Issaquah, WA
Food were good enough and met our expectations of authentic Cantonese food. They only had 3 boring choice of Seasonal Vegetable.... When I asked for the Chinese mustard greens(jiè cài), the guy didn?t even know what that is. The sauce for the Royal Chickenwas mostly oil with little bit of green onion, hardly any ginger at all, and very salty! Really? $30 for a chicken but too cheapwith ginger? Read more
Found a bug in the Beef Brisket Noodles. Ordered to-go, came home, and started eating. Once I started to take apart the Bok... Choy, a little bug (roach?) was right there. Never coming back. Read more
Excellent Cantonese place, which is somewhat of a rarity in the Seattle/Bellevue area given the Thai and Vietnamese influence.... Staff was friendly and helpful, food was hot and fast, and the displayed roasted meat made for a cool atmosphere. Read more
Excellent Chinese roast meats. A bit pricey but worth it because it is by far, the best roast duck, char siu and roast pork... belly I have had in the US. The roast pork is well balanced with layers of fat, juicy meat and the crunchiest crackling ever(which has stayed crunchy even as leftovers the next day). The duck is meaty, moist and well seasoned. The bbq pork actuallytastes and looks like char siu should. Have ordered several times and they have been consistent. Tried the beef hor fun and theSingapore fried noodle today and was also impressed. Good wok hei and generous with the vegetables and proteins. Read more
Amazing meat quality! My favorite is their Honey Char Siu and Roast Pork! Arrived around noon during weekend, and waited for... about 15 mins to get our order. The only thing I?ll complain is the table is not clean, hope they?ll clean the table soonerespecially during pandemic time. But will definitely come back for take out!! Read more
Legit Chinese BBQ. My only complaints are that it took 27 minutes to get BBQ pork rice bowl (literally chop pork and place on... rice then serve) and that the chili oil is not spicy and very bland, and it's a little pricey but I'm fine paying that to stayout if Seattle. otherwiseI'd say 5 stars. Otherwise the BBQ is very very good. Read more
Visited Famous Kitchen on their 3rd day of business (soft launch). Welcome to the east side!!! Very happy to have a delicious,... cantonese BBQ place without having to get on I90 to Bellevue or Seattle. The roasted pork is very crispy and yummy; cha shao(bbq pork) is subtly sweet and full of flavor; the soya chicken is a little light on flavor but dip into their duck sauce orchili oil and it's amazing!! Also tried a sample of their roast duck and it's heavenly. Definitely returning many times to getbbq meats and my favorite comfort food, roast pork on rice ???? Read more
