I would give Cafe Rio or Issaquah ZERO stars if I could. This place is garbage. We are moving in 3 days and wanted to thank our... friends for helping us pack up all of our belongings. My husband suggested we cater Cafe Rio and so at 5pm on a Saturday, hescheduled a 7:30pm order for 12 of us. He arrived at 7:30pm to pick up the order and they did not have any knowledge of it. ?Itmust have been missed? someone told him. Angry that he took the time to place the order and pay for it online, my husband askedhow long it would be before they could prepare it and they told him about 15 minutes???he and his friend paid close attention, and noticed the bottoms of pans being emptied in to to go containers. We were getting the crusty/old/unwanted food from the endof the evening before closing. He told the attendant ?nevermind on this order. Please cancel it and give me a receipt verifyingI?m canceling.? The manager proceeded to come over and scream at him ?WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE THIS ORDER! HOW COULD WE PROVIDE YOU ARECEIPT FOR CANCELLING IT?! GET OUT OF THIS RESTAURANT NOW!? Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This place has gone downhill since 2020 and we will tell everyone we know to never eat here. Read more

The food tastes like it was made by 10 yr olds with a microwave. Barely any "fire-grilled" chicken in the quesadilla. We ordered... 2 horchatas, and both were full of uncooked rice. The best thing was the "famous" tres leches because its sad appearance made melaugh. Overall, the food is about half as good as Taco Bell. Read more

Very dirty location. We arrived around 8, most of the tables were empty except one big party. We could not find even one table... that was clean and had to just wipe it ourselves, there was quite a lot of food on the floors too. Food- the food was sub parfrom my previous experience at Cafe Rio, the rice was very dry and the quesadilla the second dish was quite oily but not evenfully grilled. The taste was okay but based on the overall sanitary condition of the place and food overall experience was bad:( Read more

While the food was decent, the customer service was atrocious. It felt that we as the customers were a nuisance to the employees... and the Manager by visiting their restaurant. When my son asked for pinto beans, the employee mistakenly put black beans in theburrito, and then proceeded to argue with him when he corrected her politely. The Manager out did her when she tried to proveexactly what 3 oz of meat was by weighing it on a scale when her employee was asked if she could put a little bit more meat onthe burrito. This restaurant needs a cultural shift in the way they view their customer, and sadly I think it starts with themanager. Read more
