OMG best Cuban food ever, the Food is excellent and very well season and fresh. Restaurants is very clean with inside/out... seating the staff are very welcoming and very friendly. Best food since my vacation stayed at FL , 100% recommended to familyand friends and will definitely visit again. The service was good. The lady was super affable. The tostones with ropa vieja were incredible. The bistec entree was a little... vinegary but the rice and beans were delicious. So was the Cuban sandwich. The cafecito wasn't bitter with the perfect amount ofsweetness and the Angelina Mia dessert was one of the best desserts I've had down in the Keys. Read more
If you?re looking for authentic Cuban cuisine, this is the place. I don?t usually leave reviews, but this place was fabulous.... Our servers Saily and Adrian were helpful and punctual! Make sure to try the Angelina Mia for dessert, flavorful and lightapricot cake.. worth every penny. Very good Cuban food! We had the lunch specials- smoked pork and steak. Also had the ceviche and fresh squeezed guava juice.... Would 10/10 recommend the steak!!! Very thin cut and juicy. Friendly staff as well. Recommend this place for sure if you wantauthentic Cuban food in the keys! Read more
Amazing experience at El Framboyan! The food was fantastic and the service was spot on! We shared the whole red snapper dinner... along with an order of Cuban fried rice and shrimp (no vegetables.) It's a new restaurant in Islamarada. All updated and superclean inside and in the patio area outside. We met the owner/Chef along with some of the staff. Everyone was delightful and veryaccommodating during our dine in experience. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in Cuban cuisine. Oh.. the Cuban coffee wasamazing as well! Damn this place is good. Wasn?t expecting a gem randomly along the way. All the dishes were top notch and service was super... friendly. I made a quick stop here for Cuban coffee on my drive home from Key West. My first impression was that it looked new and clean.... They have a pretty garden area outside to eat and some indoor seating as well. When I went up to the counter to order thewaitress was so friendly. I ordered two cafetardos and chicken croquettes with their homemade cilantro sauce and both were sodelicious! I highly recommend stopping here for a quick bite or sit down lunch/dinner. ???? Don?t be fooled by the high review score. We went to the place in a group of 4. The food was disappointing for almost everything... we ordered. 1. Cuban pizza: the bread was not raised, and it?s about half inch thick, so it is really hard to chew. When we askJessica, she told us it?s the specialty of Cuban pizza 2. The fried shrimp costs 21, and came with 6 shrimps. 3. The seafood inpaella was not fresh. Mussels had a weird texture and smell that felt like it?s been frozen for a while. When we ask Jessica, wewere told that is how Florida mussel usually tasted???? 4. Last but not least, the oil smells somehow weird as well. Once weenter the place, there was a smell of high temperature burning fry. So we chose to eat outdoors. We?ve been hanging around thearea for some days, but none of the restaurant was as bad as this one.
