Very poor service. They just kept asking us to visit different counters to get our order after we were done paying. And the food... wasn't fresh at all. One of our orders had a hair strand in it. When we asked to replace it, they just took the part of the foodthat had hair and replaced it instead of replacing the full order. The guy taking the order on the counter wasn't aware of themenu items (which caused a lot of confusion) and also incorrectly noted our order. Not recommended!! Read more

Poor service. Old owner is greedy and very creepy. Tried to overcharge me for chocolates and was staring at me in a nasty and... creepy way while I was eating. The service is bad. The food tastes fine. The women in the kitchen are very rude. Read more

Taste is average not sure what's is so special they are charging sweets $16 per pound, I know inflation is there but these... prices are not justified anyways. I bought Gulab Jamun which they packed in a paper box, as usual packing was poor and entiresugar syrup was leaking. Who packs liquid sweets in paper box, use (Recyclable) plastic containers. Also for paper bag you willhave to pay extra which is insane (new way of earning) , they are already charging so high for sweets on top of they arecharging extra for bags never seen this anywhere in NJ. It seems owners must be trying to recover infrastructure cost bycompramisng on quality. Anyways They are not forcing us to buy its your money and choice. I will suggest there are otheroptions near by which you can try for snacks and sweets. There is enough free parking space for 18-20 cars. Read more

Our favorite destination for sweets when driving through New Jersey. Their kesar jalebis beat most places in India - a rare... achievement! I also love their sohan halva, laddus, malai chamcham, and a host of other options. Gets awfully crowded, andthroughput is not the best, so factor in at least 20 minutes if you know exactly what you want. Read more

This is my first time buying sweets and namkeens from Sukhadia, seeing their website and went for shopping! However as shown in... pictures the namkeens were not fresh, they had a bad smell and sticky! Not at all made fresh. Please be aware before buyingnamkeens!! I advise the shop owners to keep an eye on old stock and remove them before customers buy them!! (Spoiled foodalert!) Read more

I went to this so called famous sweet shop of New Jersey, Sukhadias just now. Shop was empty but for two couples. It was... smelling ..smelling so badly of the Oil used for some preparation. It's Canola Oil I was told ..which is nothing but RapeseedOil used earlier times in India by our vilaagers in Odisha ,West Bengal etc. This is bad for your health. That's the firstreason for my giving Single star. We took two packets of Bombay Vada Pav and a half pound of Moti Chur Laddu. Came home andopened the packets. Oh God. Bombay Vada Pav is stale and Bun was so hard we have no option but to leave it. So we opened theMoti Chur packet and tasted. This one was equally stale and bad. Then I remembered. The lady who was doing duty , came to wherethe Laddu s are displayed. Normally what happens ... the sales person takes these sweet meats one by one and once it's done ,goto the weighing machine and then gives us. This lady must be a magician..so within no time she gave us a packet containing 6pieces of Laddu..saying half pound. We didn't suspect anything and thought it's ok and paid and came home. The stalesness ofthis Moti Chur says only one thing ..they are still selling those sweets made for Deepavali to unsuspecting customers. Lethonesty be damned. This shop people are so confident that even selling stale and bad items is Ok because of their name. It's forus, customers to decide. I say don't give them a chance to cheat us and make money. Note:: I am forced to give single starbecause there is nothing below this or else it would have been minus fifty(-50) like the temparature in Winter. Read more
