Waited for 5 minutes and was not even acknowledged as the only worker took drive thru after drive thru and never even looked at... the direction of the front of the store to see if anyone was waiting there. This particular Dunkin is located inside a casino and is open 24/7. The coffee is great, as always. They are understaffed and... the one girl working the overnight shift is way, way too overworked . She just kept smiling despite the rudeness and horribleattitude of the majority of late night customers. Read more
I walked in to order an iced coffee, and there was a sign on the counter saying ?drive thru only.? I told the man working there... that I had walked there from the nearby neighborhood and did not have a car. He just shrugged his shoulders and turned his backon me. You mean to tell me he couldn?t just make a single iced coffee for me? Like the computer he typed my order in would knowI wasn?t in a car?? I was the only one in the store at the time. The bathroom was a disgusting mess and had no hand soap and a missing dispenser. I asked manager for hand soap. He seemed... overwhelmed but was texting? It took him 5 minutes to get a gallon and then he went in bathroom came out a told me it was closedbecause not dispenser. I asked if I could us soap to was hands and he said it was closed rudely. People waiting could notbelieve his attitude and let me go in other to wash hands 10 minutes later. Coincidentally I visited both of the reststops. North and southbound where Dunkin operates a DD with an attached convenience... store and gas station. Both times one of our party used the restroom, we got gas and at one of the sites ( northbound) we gotcoffee. I have been traveling the parkway for more than 40 years and have witnessed these small rest areas change almost 40times. They have often been poorly staffed, dirty with bathrooms that would make you consider waiting another 20 miles. TheseDunkins both had quick and FRIENDLY service at the gas pumps, and despite being hampered with very small parking and littlemaneuvering room, both sites were relatively easy to get in and out of the parking and gas areas. Restrooms were clean onFather's Day with a million cars up and down the parkway. The convenience stores were busy but neat and the staff was able tokeep the customers from backing up, causing lines and delays that would crowd the parking lot and make in and out traffic anightmare. Lastly I and my wife order coffe at thousands of places and although we are very specific about what we want asoften as not it is wrong. This time it was perfect and perfectly enjoyable. Read more
This review is about the cashier that rung me up. The food and drink was good I had no issues with that. I walked in after... being stuck in a lot of traffic on the parkway and the cashier was extremely inappropriate with me. He kept asking me how was myday, how was my Mother?s Day. After I repeated myself once he kept asking me the same questions following with ?you lookbrilliant today? I just ignored him. Made me feel super uncomfortable. Also when I wanted to get a special drink with oat milkand not dairy milk he was like oh it?s going to be expensive like I don?t have the money to pay for it. It was simple just theCake batter latte with oat milk nothing too serious. I don?t know what the issue is here. I don?t recommend this spot at allespecially if you?re a female. That person working was completely inappropriate. I get maybe he was trying to ?make small talk?but he was just out of line. You just don?t do that to customers when you are working. Period. I live close to the parkway and often travel the parkway to go places. The coffee from the dunkin at the Colonia rest stop has... the best coffee. Better than other dunkin stores I go to. Also, I have found that most of the employees are pleasant and Ireceive quick service. Sometimes I will travel to the rest stop just to get dunkin and then turn around at the Iselin exit to gohome.
