Nice place, cool decor with an up north/country bar and restaurant feel. Adjacent to Long Lake and a seasonal RV park.... Reasonable assortment of tap and bottled beer along with a full bar. Enjoyed their Smokin Good platter which included ribs, beefbrisket, and pulled chicken along with two sides. All meats were smoked, tender, and delicious. This place is a solid 4.5. Went for the first time recently. Place was very clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly and... helpful. Party of 4, I had the Philly, two had the half broasted chicken meal and the fourth had a burger. Burger was averagebecause it was a bit overcooked. Broasted chicken was super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside without being greasybut the dredge needs some seasoning to make it 5 star. The Philly was amazing. We are not talking about ?thin sliced ribeye?that is all dried out like in Philly or deli meat. Here it was slow cooked until fall apart roast beef seasoned perfectly. Onlycomplaint I could have is that the peppers and onions were just short of perfectly cooked. They were a bit crunchy still butbetter that than mushy! Highly recommend this place. 6 months ago the day after our wedding, my wife and I found this place on our drive home. We stopped by to get food. The service... was awesome! And the food was great. Today I brought my wife back here for mother's day. The same bartender was working (wish weknew her name) and after talking with her she remembered us. Even though there was a miscommunication on when lunch was beingserved, she was fantastic and professional and took amazing care of us. Thank you for places and people like this. We had our wedding reception here in October 2021 and the experience was phenomenal! Carrie, the owner, is wonderful to work... with and was so helpful the entire way through. The food was delicious and the staff was not only friendly but also veryaccommodating. All our expectations were met and then some. Food was delicious. The brisket sandwich was perfectly seasoned and moist, and the broasted chicken was delightfully tasty.... Service was friendly and attentive. CeCe was our server and did a great job, checking in on us the whole time. And thecheesecake is to die for. Read more
