The other night my friend and I went to this spot in the irvington location. Although it was closing time this amazing employee... there was nice enough to allow us to place an order. She was very polite, super kind. And got us exactly what we asked for andthen some. She went above and beyond and you don?t get that a lot with restaurants in these types of areas. Flava Wingz has the best onion rings I've had in town! And their chicken is fantastic! We were getting gas one day and noticed... a chicken spot next to an ice cream spot. We stopped in and checked out the menu. Ordering was simple, and the food camepromptly. It's nice that you can order your food and watch music videos on the television screen while you wait for your food! The employees there are friendly too! This review isn't about the food because the food was good. This review is about the fact that the girl at the counter told me... one total and a few days later when I look at my card I was charged a different total a few dollars higher. I highly doubt theycharge a service fee for using a card because if they did, she didn't mention it. I feel like she gave herself a tip becauseshe didn't give me a receipt. She just said oh you're good. Instead of turning the pinpad around like they normally do, shetook it upon herself to do it. I try to support businesses in my neighborhood, but because of this I will no longer go there. Read more

Best food in America. Great customer service and genuine people who love their craft. Wings are top tier and they have so many... flavors. Must try the Flava Special Sauce and the Henny Sticky sauce. My experience with the establishment was exemplary. Customer service was polite, generous and absolutely welcoming with her... greetings. I ordered the shrimp and chicken sandwich and homemade ice T. I was already full but I indulged thoroughly andfinished the whole sandwhich within minutes . Yes, it was that good. Probably the best wings I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and the fries were great too.
