This location is at the airport. You walk in and order at the counter. Next you wait outside the restaurant and wait for your... number to be called. There is a counter to stand on and eat but it is small and that is where you wait for your food. I hadthe basic whataburger and fries. The fries were fresh and good tasting. The hamburger was thin and had a basic beef flavor. It tasted pre-made and lukewarm. The staff was smiling and friendly. My order came within five minutes. Most READ!!!! I went there on October 1st, 2022 around 4pm. Had a great experience in Texas for the 20days I stayed. except for... this Whataburger location. JUST REALLY RUDE!!!! They feel like they don?t want to help, and 0!!! Energy from the person at thefront. Lol I really liked whataburger but this store just don?t care about people. I?m guessing the owner just doesn?t careabout this store because it makes enough money anyway. If you are traveling for Dallas please don?t go this Store. It justruined the experience of Taxes. This place was beyond slow. Which is perfect for a busy international terminal. (eyeroll) Taking my order - relatively fast.... Filling the order with only one order ahead of me and a more than full kitchen staff - 15-20 minutes. For a burger. The simplestitem on the menu. While waiting, the line to pick up kept growing yet the pace of the staff seemed to slow down. Even when theywould complete an order and bag it, they would leave it on the counter in the back and slowly chat away leaving us to stare atour completed food out of our reach. Ordered a shake. The paper Straw had hole(s) in it. Tried 7 different straws all the same. Asked 2 airline works who ordered... shakes if they where having same problem and both had went through several straws and none of them worked. Told cashier about itand she said nothing she could do it was a corporate decision. I asked if she had a spoon and she said no only forks and knivesand that also was a corp decision. Whole time she was just grinning. So ate my shake with a fork and wrote this review. Youreally would think some one in management would check these things out or act when there are problems. Great fast service! Everyone is super friendly and has a whatever it takes attitude! I?m pregnant and have been wanting a... chocolate shake. Every other whatsburger I go to either has it broken or is cleaning it. My husband of course went to go get meone here at the Dallas airport which I did not have my hopes up due to other experiences. Denise saw the machine was not workingto well but mixed the Chocolate by hand to ensure I got what I wanted. Not only that but as we looked around for seating due toour flight delay, other employees were kind enough to help us out and find a place to sit! Never experienced a fast food servicelike this! I used to avoid DFW like the plague due to all of the weather delays... Until I realized I could get Whataburger while I was... there. So now I always make my layover in DFW because I live in Denver now and I can't get it anymore. That's how much I loveWhataburger. The one at the airport in e does not disappoint. Had a late lunch upon arrival for a flight connection. Order was quick and easy for takeout only. But they should have some... seating to eat at in the airport located in terminal E near Gates 20-29. I ordered the classic whataburger meal. Changed out thefries for onion rings instead with medium size soda. Total cost was a bit over $11. Read more
So first time eating at Whataburger was really looking forward to it come to find out it tastes alit like fat burger minus the... relish. The service was over 30 mins to get. When I did finally get it I think it was sitting there the whole time and insteadof refiring it, me and my wife got the two coldest burgers and fries we've ever gotten with no time to wait again.
