Waffle house always the best food we love and know but the atmosphere the day we went was a little off. Everyone seemed mad... upset and just irritated to be there . We went as a family to take my sister in law for some food who was visiting and thewaitress was a bit serious the whole time and the other employees seemed mad. Debbie was our server, she is a sweetheart! This was the first Waffle House that we found that was close to our new home. Omg,... no disappointment here. Great service and food. My parents loved it. They have never been here. They enjoyed the food and theatmosphere. Go see Debbie, she is great! She made us feel so welcomed in Texas. The cook is great too. He had the pink headband and rubber bands on his beard. He makes delicious food. Plus, Debbie made great decisions for my parents and us to try.They made us laugh too. It's a bonus! I arrived at about 0750 and was greeted. The music or jukebox was LOUD. I have more than 50% hearing loss and it was loud for... me. I ask a staff member named Jessica if the volume could be turned down and started getting BS reasons why it couldn?t be. Iasked to speak with a manager and got more lip service. The manager did come out but never personally engaged me and asked ifthere was a problem. Well there were no other customers when I asked if this person was the manager and she acknowledged she wasand her name tag said Unit Manager. She was helpful, but only after I directly confronted her. Read more
