The service is good, and the people are friendly. Unfortunately the food doesn't quite meet expectations. As an appetizer I... ordered a queso, and it had large chunks of onion in it which was a little disappointing. As an entrée I ordered some chickenenchiladas and the chicken tasted canned. One of the saddest version of a carne guisada plate I've ever had; specially from a "Latin grill". I would compare it to many... tasteless cuts of meats in so many American eatery places that attempts to copy authentic Latin Cuisine. I could not finishthe plate. $15. We always have great food and service when eating at Tia's. Their complimentary salsa and bean dip is so good it's hard not to... fill up on it. The waiters work hard to please. They have a nice outdoor area to enjoy when weather permits. Read more

The service was not all that great. My mom ordered queso as an appetizer. I ordered a margarita for happy hour only $5 and my... mom ordered coffee. The chips were not fresh she had to get up and look for someone to bring her chips. Walter was our serverand usually does awesome but tonight not so great. I ordered camarones mojo de ajo and my mom ordered brochette camarones bothof us didn?t get our beans before I noticed Walter walked away. He never came back to the table. Our entrees were deliciousjust missing the beans. We didn?t have napkins, my mom never got her coffee she ordered. We didn?t have the opportunity to letWalter know we didn?t get our beans because he never came back until we were done. I would have loved another margarita. Whenhe did come to the table I asked him about the beans. He said he forgot his got a personal call with his x wife and had toanswer the call. By now my mom was ready to go so I didn?t order my margarita. We still payed full price even though we didn?tget our whole entree. Just disappointed in the service. They weren?t even busy. I only saw Shelly once she must have justarrived she went straight to the back and I didn?t see her come back out. The food was delicious...as always. I'm a huge fan of their black bean dip. Their portions are huge. My salmon salad was $20.... Normally, I won't spend that much on my own entree..especially when I know I'm going to order dessert...totally worth it!!! Read more
Food was okay it lacked salt and flavor. There werent any salt shakers or condiments on the table. When asked for hot sauce, was... charge $2.50 for a side of hot sauce. The food took longer than expected to arrive. The restroom sink is falling off the wall,they even have a sign telling you not to lean on it. The tables were sticky.
