Privately owned and the staff has a huge passion for what they do! I don?t understand the bad reviews. Been coming here for a... while and everything is top notch. The drinks and especially the food is amazing!!! You may have to wait due to being highvolume just like anywhere else that is amazing. 5 stars on every visit!!!!!! This place has got a great menu and even better food fantastic service and amazing customers that just want to talk with you and... enjoy life. I flew into DFW and this was my first stop cuz I was looking for something close to my hotel. This seems like alocal hangout but I met some incredibly cool people and I would highly recommend. If you don't stop here at least for a drink or12 then you don't know how to have fun. Read more
This place flat out rocks. I mean seriously they are the most kick a$$ bar ever. I used to come here all the time after work... when I was in the restaurant industry with coworkers to unwind. I moved from texas and been gone 7 years... came back anddecided to take my family here for dinner. Wow were we impressed. The quesidillas were JUST AS FAB AS EVER. Best thing on themenu BTW. Drinks were yummy and cold. Fun trivia game going on that my family and I had fun guessing along with. The staffwas incredible. They made sure to get us a table big enough for my family no problem and from start to finish we were takencare of and wanted for nothing. This place has it all from the booze to the food to entertainment the works both a bar and asit down eatery atmosphere cleverly blending together with great service. Such a cute and quant bar/restaurant that reminded me of Cheers. Folks there seemed to be regulars. We sat at the bar around... 8:30. It wasn?t super busy but started to fill up as the night went on. My blackened tacos hit the spot! The sauce they usedin the tacos was very creamy and delightfully. I think it would make a good dipping sauce for fries or veggies. My date hadthe fish and chips and he said it was good. Bar tenders were busy but super attentive! I would recommend this place for afirst date because if you aren?t feeling the person you?re with, at least the fun karaoke entertainment will keep youdistracted! Ha! I usually get the Bacon and Blue burger, which has always been very good, but this visit I decided to try the Rueben sandwich... and was a bit disappointed. The bread was pretty good, but didn?t taste like rye bread and there was hardly any corned beef orsauerkraut. The tots were very good, as usual, and the Shiner was good and cold.
