Decided to give this place a try tonight with my other half and a friend of ours. The chips and salsa was actually pretty good.... That’s the only good thing I have to say about the food. I got the chicken fajitas, and although the chicken smelled deliciousand looked like it was coated in seasoning, it seriously lacked any sort of flavor. The beans and rice also lacked any flavor.Definitely not worth the prices listed. The servers were friendly and the food came out relatively fast. But we won’t becoming back to this place again. Our first time coming here and the staff is super nice. Felt like a warm family location. The food was very delicious and came... quick. We truly enjoyed it and will be coming by more often. This is a hidden Gem in Irving. Worth the stop . Read more
Good quality food with excellent service. This restaurant have been around for years it's a great place to have such fresh food... that's cooked to perfection and not thrown together with a high bill...ALL of them assisted with the service. I give this FiveStars for Good Fresh Food and Excellent Service in a clean environment. I was so tired from the heat Omar the Owner son broughtthe Sanitizer to the table. Someone horrible from my past introduced me to this place long long ago. The risk of running into that person at this restaurant... is worth it because the food is so good. *edit May 2022* I feel betrayed. I don't know what to do. After arriving starving andcompletely housing a bowl of salsa, I stirred the salsa and a tiny roach crawled out of it. I understand that these thingshappen but it happened to me and it can't un-happen. And despite this, we stayed and finished our meals! Though we may be insanefor staying, our main entrees were perfect! That's where my entire inner conflict stems from now. I used to love this place butI feel like I can't go back anymore. Visited for lunch on a Friday, just a few other tables inside and the place wad super hot, AC was not on nor did they have the... ceiling fans on. Cup of tortilla soup was tasty and my sour cream enchiladas were good, beans had no flavor though. Beeffajitas were not good and had no flavor. The meat tasted as if they attempted to season it days prior but it lost it completelyand the meat was not very tender. The place had an old feel to it as if original to when it opened in the 70's. Found this place on Google & decided to give it a try. When I pulled up it to the location, it should've been an indication of... what was to come. Ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas & was 100% DISAPPOINTED! The food & water were awful (How does onemess up water)! The food had an oily, old, bland taste & was just unappetizing. ???????? Along w/the waiter who wasn't verypersonable. Oh & they don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Definitely wish I'd read more of the reviews & chosenanother restaurant. First & LAST visit. The food here was good but the prices were INSANE! My family was looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try. I found Rudy's on... Google and it had decent reviews. When we arrived the menu they handed us did not reflect the menu we saw online and there was anote on the table notifying customers of a price change so I figured that that was what the difference was. We ordered a combomeal, fajitas for 1, a kids meal ($10!), an ala carte taco, 2 Dr Peppers and a milk. Our bill was $75!! -apparently the note ofprice increase was an additional increase... Unfortunately we will not return as the price is too much for what we ordered. Read more
