Found this spot on Google, we came in and immediately was greeted by the host, we where sat with the waitress Kalandra. She has... been so sweet, it's her first day out of training and as a server myself i can say she gave us exceptional service. She also hasa very kind and pleasant personality. Jeremy the manager on duty also was hands on and made sure we had everything we needed.Exceptional staff! The food, super tasty, everything was cooked with lots of flavor, nice and juicy meats, even the sidesimpressed. My boyfriend is a Chef and absolutely loved this BBQ spot. Food was good but the service sucked despite being dead. There were 7 ppl including myself seated and I still had to flag down... another server for drinks and whatnot. 1st time there and probably my last too. SAD beacuse food was good. Read more
From the moment I walked in, it felt very comfortable and familiar. Memphis themed with art work and instruments as part of the... decor. Great music paving the way for a great relaxing meal. I have also attached a few pictures of the featured interior theme.They even have a guitar signed by BB King at the entrance. The service from Brandi was nothing short of incredible. Tea was in ahuge small pitcher. I ordered the chicken fried steak and a small bowl of their chili. The chili was unique and very flavorful.But the chicken fried steak was where the party started. A huge portion of meat, two scoops of mashed potatoes and green beansin onions and seasoned to perfection. Even the gentleman who serviced my plate at the table was extremely friendly. First Day of Christmas vacation and our crew decided to go see the Christmas set up in Grapevine, Texas. We had not fed our... three monsters so BBQ was the medication needed to calm them down. The wife's Google search guided us to this place. I stilldon't get why so many BBQ places close on a Monday. As you drive in, the establishment was located inside of a vast mall areaand parking is not an issue. If you have kids like us, careful where you park since there is a lot of traffic. As you enter theplace, you need to wait to be seated. After the long drive, we needed to feed the three before they turned into Tasmania Devils.The inside decoration was eye pleasing and it could be observed very clean. The tables were family friendly and no issues withbaby seat. Our server arrived and took our drink order. I checked in on YELP and earned a $10 discount so check in on your app.Wife and one monkey had the rib lunch special, the other starving child had brisket sandwich, the 2 year old had the chickenstrips and I had the burnt ends with 4 Habanero Chipotle wings. While waiting for the food, we used the bathrooms located in thefar right corner as you walked in and secured the feeling it was a real nice and clean place. Our server was courteous yet withonly 2-3 tables he needed some more hands on with us. The food arrived at different times making it hard on some of my Gremlinswho allegedly were so hungry their head was about to explode. The ribs were cooked ok yet had no rub or flavor to them. Theburnt ends outside needed BBQ sauce and some fat in it to taste good. The meat on the burnt ends was tough and just there. Mysons sandwich arrived as we were all finishing our meal mind you the place was empty. Cashew our 2 year old spit up the rib. Theplace was real nice inside but the food and service needed some support. The price was $59 plus tip so it's ok yet I feel thisis not a destination place for this motley cruel. Read more
Our waitress, Fay, was most helpful, attentive, friendly and courteous. The food was outstanding and with good size portions. I... had the Pulled Pork, baked sweet potato & turnip greens. My husband had the Saturday special of all you can eat chicken, withsides of mac & cheese and cole slaw. All food was extremely yummy! We had no room for dessert, but got Pecan Cobbler to go. Good food and outstanding service. Myself and two other people ate here on Saturday. We were in Dallas for the weekend. I'm a... vegetarian so I had the Sidecar, a choice of four different sides, all my sides were delicious. My husband had the ribs and theywere falling off the bones. Our friend had chicken. We all were very satisfied with our food and at a good price. It was onlytwo servers but those two ladies were running that restaurant as if it was four servers. We received our food within areasonable time and were checked on throughout the time we were there. I would definitely come back if I'm in Dallas. Read more
