It is surprisingly difficult to find good, healthy food in the midst of the Houston medical center complex. Murphy's is on the... 2nd floor of the Skurlock Building and is well worth the effort to find it. A buffet offers dozens of salads and spreadsincluding tabouli, hummus, chicken salad, and more. There are also a couple of different soups and many prepackaged cookies,baklava, and other delights. The real star is the menu of freshly made deli sandwiches. The paninis are wonderful. The decor isbright but welcoming and comfortable. The dozen or so restaurants in the immediate vicinity tend toward either national chains(Subway, Chipotles) or small dingy Chinese or other take out places. Murpy's is a real find and offers high quality, diverse,healthy, and inexpensive food. Read more

I love this Deli! Always so convenient and great service for good food! Also has a full selection of coffee, cold or hot, and a... very friendly barista who is great at making the coffee.
