They forgot my rice and I didn't realize until I got home. I call and talk to some extremely young female on the phone who told... me to come back. Super crispy. I would compare it to KFC extra crispy times 2. The batter/breading (texture) was amazing. Corn nuggets are like... a spoon of cream corn breaded then deep fried. The strips were also good, same breading. Sauce options were small. I thinkthey have sweet baby rays bbq though, so that's all you need. Overall a great experience, however there was a spice or something-maybe the marinade? - that made the taste of all the chicken breading seem off. Almost bitter? Maybe it was slightlyburnt? They should have tell the customer at the counter they?re out of legs and thighs before they even charge. I paid for what I... didn?t wanted and told me they?re out after they charge me and they don?t seem to care about the customer. I really like theirslogan but their chicken didn?t match it. Hello Golden Chick this one Star is for the Regent location! I am beyond disappointed! Erik/ Erick took my order in drive... through & I feel like he was extremely rude ....& At the window I expressed to him I felt he was rude & I shared with him ifwould I apologize I would not review & if he opted not to apologize for being rude I would post a review about the service .. hedid not care & refused to apologize & told me to post the review .. unbelievable! I'm shocked & I have no desire to visit yourlocations anywhere ... You also changed the Bun on the Big & Golden & it is not good .. Why do you hand out orders at theRegent location without even one napkin? Just a couple days ago I had the best service & sandwich ever ... Yikes ! Bye ! Erick/Eric needs more training .. I recently tried Golden Chick for the first time after moving to Texas. I got Chicken Strips and a chicken thigh, and while... good, I was not blown away. HOWEVER. On my second visit I got the chicken wings. This will be my go-to order from now on anytime I visit. As far as fast food fried wings go these are top notch. Peppery and delicious, great crunch, and kicked up a notchwhen paired with the white gravy. The fries are decent too, similar to Popeyes except more crispy. Read more
I ordered through Grubhub today and order was completely wrong. I ordered a Golden Tenders Combo, a 3 piece Southern Fried... Catfish Combo, 1/2 dozen yeast rolls, and additional sauces. I got an order of tenders and fries and 2 drinks. The box even hassomeone else name on it. I tried calling the store over 8xs and it goes straight to voicemail. Grubhub is issuing me a refund,but I will never order delivery from Golden Chick again. Read more
Everytime we go to this location there are items missing from my order!! I completely understand, being short staffed but this... is at least now 4 different occasions. Not just the items that come on the order but also add ons that we paid extra for. That'sprobably how they are making money. Charge extra but not give hand out the food!! Read more
