Haven't been here in years due to I no longer work close to this location. Disappointed that they don't the fresh style... tortillas we use to always get with our fajitas. Service could of been way better if our waiter would not of been standing atthe bar with other employees and on his phone. Place really wasn't busy for a Friday night would of thought employees would ofmade who ever they had in the restaurant top priority. There was one employee who was steady working and it was the bus boy hewas all over the restaurant making sure all the tables where cleaned I made sure to tip him for his hard work thank youSilvester . Also spoke with the manager who really didn't show to much concern for our complaint she looked more lost to why iwas tipping a bus boy . To start, this was my first time ever being here, but walking in I felt like I was visiting old friends. Everyone was smiling... and a pleasure to come in contact with. My serve called me "honey" and was always happy to serve/help. She even helped medecide on food selection. I watched numerous families (probably) regulars be greeted and hugged by multiple workers. It waslike they were all family. It was beautiful! As food... food was great. The salsa was on the mild side and had thatsouth-west flavor not a typical Mexican salsa flavor (to me). The burrito I got was legitimately the best burrito I have had inTX. Highly recommended, and I will be back! Read more
I love this restaurant group. I love this location more than the others. It is the staff that makes the difference. You feel... like you're coming home to family. Of course they serve the same amazing Tex-Mex that we've all come to expect piping hot andperfectly prepared. Beautiful Restaurant with very good food. They have been in business since 1918! They are still short of staff since reopening... from pandemic closures, but we spent the extra time enjoying the beautiful decor. The food was very good, and of good portions. We shared a giant chocolate and caramel sopapilla that was absolutely wonderful! If we lived here, we would visit often. Read more
We came in the early afternoon when it was not busy. Only two servers in the whole restaurant besides the two hostesses. When we... arrived there were a total of 3 tables. When we left maybe 11 tables still with only two servers. I give the food maybe two andhalf stars. Our food came out quickly. And it was hot which was nice. We got the appetizer platter as well as one of the combomeals. I will say sadly the chicken in everything was bland and dry. And the ground beef also not seasoned. Most of the time Ican polish everything off but this time I could only eat half of the food. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day, shortstaffed, or they were getting trained. Excellent.... My wife is from Texas and moved to Arizona, swinging by here on a getaway reminded her of the tastes she grew up... with "Tex-Mex" flavor enchiladas were awesome. Awesome unique inside atmosphere ( pic's included) attentive staff. Stop onin.... You'll love it. Read more
Wednesday special Enchiladas , They were great. And our service was great also. Not one complaint. Best Mexican food in town.... We always come back. My Mother and Father used to take us to the one in Dallas so I have been eating they?re since I was youngand I am 65 now. It has always been a family favorite and still is after all the years.
