The patron frozen margarita is the best. The tortilla soup was good just too much celery. The avocado poppers delicious.
One of the better airport restaurants we have eaten at. We are picky Texans about Tex-Mex, Had a Frozen ?Coach? Margarita that... I thought was perfect sweetness, not sure why it was blue but it made me feel more leisurely for my fight. Chips were warm andhad a good flavor. Salsa best airport salsa I have ever had. Queso Blanca was more than decent. When you order Queso and chipsthe salsa comes with and for 11 dollars it was a good size bowl of Queso and salsa. We split a chicken burrito and it was goodand decent but the wrap the burrito tortilla was cool to touch and the chicken tasted more northern than Tex-Mex. Waiter Trevorwas kind? Fast service; good, surprisingly fresh food! It was probably the best airport meal I've had in years. I had the carnitas,... shrimp, and steak corn tortilla tacos and the Weather Delay. The relaxed atmosphere provided a wonderful space for rest andrelief in the middle of a long travel day. My lovely waitress was perfectly attentive and didn't bother me every 5 minutes, andthe restaurant area wasn't too loud to prevent me from taking phone calls. Service was good. Good airport restaurant. The steak quesadilla was terrific along with the flan for dessert. The guacamole was... decent just needed more seasoning, on the bland side. Overall a pretty good place if you are laid over. Read more
I stopped in here on my way to Florida expecting a little taste of home before I left the state and saw that this place had... recently opened back up in November, under the new name of 2.0 Tequila and Taco Bar. The atmosphere was great and the servicewas perfect, staff was very friendly and helpful. I was seated quickly and after a bit of back and forth my order was fired offand quickly brought out to me. Presentation was very good for the plating and portions were just right for the steak street tacoI had ordered. After one bite, I realized why my order had been delivered so quickly. The steak was bland, no seasoning at allexcept for the cilantro it was smothered in and a small sampling of onions. The steak was grilled and moist but bad no flavorexcept for the char from the grill. After one and a half tacos I could not finish the meal. The rice was equally bland in flavorand the beans, when added to the taco, made the dish edible since it was the only part of the meal that was palatable. Includingthe tip this meal cost me nearly thirty dollars, a twenty dollar taco I could have made at home myself with much more flavor andfor a third if the cost. If you don't mind the price or the lack of flavor it is a very convenient eat on the way out of Dallasbut I'd have gotten a better bang for my buck out if Wendy's. Read more
