On this particular... visit, Margaux made it extra nice because she took the time to indulge my curiosities about the menu. Drove up from San Diego to meet up with out of town family at a softball tournament and was asked to bring food. I was happy to... find this Urban Plates so close to the sports complex. We were so fortunate to have Margaux take our order She was friendly andhelpful with placing our order. (There was another staff member at the counter when we arrived; he did not acknowledge us. Margaux noticed us waiting to place an order and immediately walked toward the counter and waived us over to her register.) Aswe waited for our order, I noticed Margaux was constantly checking on orders, making drinks, and looking for ways to behelpful. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I got their 3 chicken tender plate with an orange hibiscus soda and they were both pretty good, but the bread and the chicken... sort of tasted a bit stale. I also got the broccolini and it smelled and tasted like fish so that was a bit gross. Read more

Warning this is Fun and friendly dining experience. Don?t go here unless you want to be wowed by a flavorful assortment of... dishes healthy and or hearty. I loved the braised beef dish.
