Pretty standard boba tea place. Great location being in the Irvine Spectrum Center. It was my first time here so I'll give it... the benefit of the doubt on the drink. I ordered the Ube Taro Brown Sugar with oat milk. I would have expected the Ube or eventhe brown sugar to add flavor but the oat milk was super overpowering. I would try again, but would stay away from the oat milkoption. Read more

Food: 4/5 Service and Setting: 5/5 Value: 3/5 I?ve been wanting to try The Alley for the longest time and that time is now. The... line was pretty long but it moved quickly. Inside, I found the store to be very charming and clean. The Alley tries to bedifferent by having all of these weird names and stuff but I was glad that the person helping us was able to explain what a snowvelvet and lulu were (honestly, I already forgot). Their drinks are pretty expensive being around a $1-$2 more than most othershops but I can definitely tell that the ingredients were slightly higher in quality. Snow Velvet Black Muscat Tea: 4/5 Firstof all, the foam on this makes the drink. Super thick, creamy, salty, and rich, I felt like the cream really differentiated thisfrom a lot of other boba shops. The boba that I added were pretty fresh and maybe slightly on the softer side. Definitely solidand nothing to complain about regarding the pearls other than being very ordinary. The drink itself was good and not too sweetor too full of ice. I am just so confused why they call it black muscat. It literally does not taste anything like grapes at alland I would honestly prefer a hint of that artificial grape flavor over something that is so incredibly light as if its notthere. There are probably better items on the menu, but if you don?t really care about your drink tasting as advertised, this isa contender haha. I?m excited to try something different next time! Read more

AMAZING BOBA SPOT ALERT!!! Wow, I was on the hunt for an amazing brulee boba drink similar to one of my favorite spots back in... Houston and wow- I was pleasantly surprised to discover The Alley! I've been twice so I discovered it last week :) Location &Venue: This place is located in the middle of The Spectrum Shopping Center (a large plaza) so you'll have to park in the parkinggarage and walk, fyi. It's such a lovely center so The Alley is a perfect during a stroll in the center. The Alley's interior isBEAUTIFUL! Think instagram worthy photos. Drink: I ordered the Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee and myyyyy it wasdelicious!!!! IT was so good, their ratio's are perfect. I do want to note they don't actually burn the cream (nohardened, caramelized brown sugar on top unfortunately), but there are chunks of the creme in the drink which is prettycool/unique. Presentation is on point! More insta photos folks. Customer Service: fast & friendly! The cashiers are so nice andfriendly. They are also practicing social distancing! They have a lot of call in orders but I was impressed at how fast my drinkwas ready as a walk-in. If you haven't visited the ally... what are you waiting for?!! Read more

Love love love the creme brulee deerioca. It's my go to comfort drink whenever I crave boba now. I had gone 4 times in 1 week.... That's how much I love this drink. I want to be adventurous and try the kiwi slush or strawberry snow by my affinity for thecreme brulee is too strong at the moment. Will post more pics if I ever change my drink order haha Read more
