I love Somi Somi. I always stop by everytime I go to Irvine Spectrum. You can't go wrong with it if you love ice cream and... Taiyaki. Ice cream is not that sweet, just right amount of sweetness and crispy outside and chewy like mochi inside. Yum!. Ijust like my taiyaki a little bit toasted and crispy. Eat it right away while it's hot! I highly recommend red bean. Again, youwon't go wrong if you like Japanese pastry. I love it and I hope you as well.... Read more
Little hidden gem in the spectrum right behind the theatre, but every hidden gem has its amazing taste and somi somi did just... that, love how simple and easy it is to choose what you want and it?s great seeing how they make it as well everything wasdelicious and I will definitely come here again! I didn?t even know about this place lol, my daughter and her friend were with us and they wanted me to try it. The cashier is... quick taking people?s orders. And the orders are ready quickly. Their ice cream is delicious, it does not feel like regular icecream when you bite into it, it is way better. My favorite thing though, was the fish-shaped waffle thing, that was absolutelyamazing! This was amazing, never had anything like it. I had my first Taiyaki. And then some more. Taiyaki is a warm waffle filled with... some goodness of your choice. I had Nutella and custard. So good. Great dessert. Read more

The ice cream is definitely good, but I think the management should rethink about how they run this place. This location is... usually dirty and unorganized. The staff work very hard and whenever we go there they are working fast and hard, but it seemslike they are understaff compare to the long lines in front of the store. We also got wrong flavors after we ordered although inour receipt it had the correct order. Anyways, not happy with our experience and I hope they make some changes? Read more
The flavors are delicious, the fish cone is very funto eat. Staff is very friendly. The place is clean and organized.
