Reviews for Pho Saigon Pearl in Irvine, CA
Ordered a large combination pho and spring rolls. Turnaround time for the food was very quick! Good when you?re short on... time. Spring rolls - giant? it had veggies, pork, shrimp, noodles. - sauce tasted more like bean paste. Would like to see morepeanut flavor than soy flavor. (Personal preference) Pho - good amount of noodles - definitely a challenge to finish all ofit - good mixture of meat, tendons, meatballs etc - broth was mediocre I?d come back for the spring rolls for sure ! I come to Spectrum Center and this is the best place to eat. Never too crowded, food is always amazing. The pho is the... best. Idk why it has less good reviews than the newer, Little Sister (too damn new fusion) restaurant. But this one is better. It's yummy. It's reliable. It's the stability you never had. Read more
Don't mark your vegetable pho as "vegetarian" if it contains beef broth. Vegetarians and vegans cannot eat anything that has... meat in it, including meat-based broth. Totally misleading. Read more
Amazing food and drinks, the prices were good and I would definitely eat there again
I?m a fan! I love their fried rice, which I mix with their curry chicken. Incredibly tasty! Great location. Pleasant staff. Love... it. Read more
Friendly staff and tasty food! Will come again. I ordered the grilled pork pho, shrimp rolls, and three flavor dessert.
Years ago, I used to like this place. I tried it again twice and I sadly have been disappointed. Not sure what is going on but... they need to go back to their head chef and redo their menu or recipes or whatever. I hate to leave negative reviews but I'm notsure if I would return. I'm the type to ask for a box if there is left over food. I did get a box but I ended up not eating myleftovers. Read more
I had my first dine in experience the other night and was pretty satisfied overall. The things that really stood out to me were... the cleanliness of the tables and seats and the friendliness of the front of house who promptly got me a table when I arrived. The interior decoration and lighting gives Pho Saigon Pearl an upscale yet modest family friendly ambiance. Onto food: Pricingseems average compared to most pho restaurants in OC. I ordered one of their signature bowls, which includes beef broth and mychoice of up to 3 cuts of meat, only for $13 (regular) $14 (large). I only picked the rare steak and despite this the portionsof steak were very generous and it was indeed rare. I'm not a broth afficianado but I did like it enough to finish my entirebowl. The utensils and condiments were clean. When I was served the bean sprouts and mint leaves they seemed fresh. Overallnothing negative about my first dine in experience and I really appreciate a good pho restaurant right there in Irvine Spectrum.Hoping to return more during the colder months. Read more
