Menu for Javier's in Irvine, CA

Location is great because I love the Irvine Spectrum. Restaurant is definitely nice too. The food used to be amazing now it is... just good. Nothing mind hoping but still top tier for a Mexican restaurant in Irvine. So now you're probably wondering why it'sa 1 star... The Staff. The Staff are terrible from management, to bartenders, to servers and waiters. Wow I have stories fromthe terrible experiences I have had with the staff here and I will be sure to update this review with all of them when I finishwriting it because I've had 4 noteworthy horrible experiences and over 10 bad experiences. As expected, very solid fare at fairly high prices. Adding things like Lobster and Crab to mexican food really does give it the... "this is 'this' part of Orange County' feeling. Had the lobster enchilada and shrimp taco. To be honest the shrimp taco wasbetter than the enchilada. I'll be back again if there's a special occasion or if I need to eat somewhere for work. Great place to meet for a drink, appetizers or a meal.I sat on the patio on a warm summer evening. People watching location is... good. Food was excellent. I had the shrimp ceviche. The server created a drink I requested (skinny spicy margarita on rocks withsalt). Drinks average $15 each, paying for ambiance/location. Read more

This location is at The Spectrum in Irvine. You can either valet park or self park. Great place to go to impress someone. Pretty... pricey Mexican food with decent portions, beautiful decor, and good food. If you're looking to eat Mexican food at a cheap pricethis is not for you.
