Yes, I'll drive 45 mins just to pickup these Macarons cause they're just that good.

The flavor and quality of the macarons was wonderful. Their everyday normal flavor is $3 each which is worth it but their... promotional was $5 which is fair because it's a promotional flavor but their character macaroni was $15. 2 dozen assorted macaroons - 5 ????! Honey and Butter has been on my "must visit" list for a long time now. I have even tried... and failed to visit 2 times before this review. They are in the middle of a very popular mall in Irvine and I am quite far fromtheir store. Luckily my brother and his family live in Fullerton so when they invited me to visit it felt like a great time toattempt my 3rd visit. This time I was successful and the phrase, 3rd times a charm really applies. My nieces are both macaroonfans and they were very happy with Honey and Butter. All the flavors were well received. I personally tried cookies and cream,pistachio, lavender and birthday cake. My pics are not the best. I was a bit distracted by visiting with my family but don'tlet my photos fool you, these macaroons are worth it! Read more

Went for their special Line character macarons! Got there before 10am on a Saturday and there was already a line. The line took... about 20 minutes to order. These character macarons are bigger than their usual size and cost $7/each. Also went to a weekdayonce and there was no line. Read more

i was super excited for the love live superstar collaboration, and i couldn't be more satisfied. i've only eaten 2 out of the 5... character macarons so far, but they were both super good (dark chocolate sea salt flavor and french toast flavor). i also got acouple normal macarons and they were tasty too (strawberry cheesecake and hazelnut nutella). i'm normally not huge on macarons,but i was smitten, i'll definitely come back another time. the line was quite long and it took a bit to get through it, but idon't consider that a fault of the store, it's just what to expect from collabs like this. the macarons came with other goodiesfrom the franchise, and the desserts themselves were really cute and detailed, i'm sure the decorators and chefs worked reallyhard on them. be aware, they run out of character macarons pretty quickly, so get in line fast! i'm not sure what the typicalprice point of a macaron is, but i know from many failed attempts that they are NOT easy to make, so i don't mind if they are abit more expensive than expected. all in all i discovered a new place that i liked a lot, if i go to irvine i'll drop by againfor sure Read more

I had took my daughter on Saturday, the day they had a pop up show that day. We waited in line from 3pm and did not get to the... store front until 9:45pm. It literally took us less than 5 mins to order the macarons and have my daughter take some quickpictures with the pop ups. I felt they could have had the lines move faster then they had. They mergh pop up closed while we waswaiting in line, so the staff passed out free stickers and a poster. The macarons was delicious and had a great variety offlavors. Read more

Super cute macaron shop! I went in for the My Hero Academia event and everything was dressed up. The macarons tasted really... good! My only gripe is that there was a line out the door for these macarons. I would wait in it again though! Read more
