Some things could have been better… we arrived ahead of our reservation and seated promptly. We chose to sit in the bar, which... would have been a better experience if the restroom doors were working properly. The squeaking-creaking was grating every timesomeone entered/exited through the doors. Ambience diminished for sure. On a better note, the server paid attention and keptthe evening moving along. The chop salad was excellent and the kitchen split it for us. On the steaks, the ribeye and 4oz filetwas prepared as requested. The ribeye is a better value. Recommend the 8oz filet as the 4oz filet wasn’t a great cut (lots oftendons). A 4oz lobster was perfectly prepared. The side of asparagus was over cooked but still edible. Great wine. If you’rea fan of Cabernet, highly recommend a glass of 1851 by Duckhorn. Read more
The ahi tacos were fresh and the taco shells crispy. Recommend the shrimp pasta. It has a little spice-heat to it which makes... the dish pop. The coconut cream pie was to die for. I don't like coconut that much and I really enjoyed it. Read more
Midnight Mule drink was amazing and may have found my new drink. Ordered my filet mignon medium rare and it came out as medium... but was still OK. Scallops were cooked perfectly and very good. They were served on a bed of corn and something, which I did notlike. Peanut Butter Bar dessert was tasty and a great finish to the meal. The restaurant and food itself is nothingspectacular but the cocktails are great. This restaurant is about a 3.5 for food, but the drinks are where it shines and wouldgive a 5 for the drinks. I definitely enjoyed my meal here. The cheesesteak egg rolls are really good as well as the ribs served as an appetizer. The... flank steak with the frites were good and I loved the chimichurri sauce that was on top of the steak. Overall a great meal. Ididn’t get any alcohol but the people I was with said the mixed cocktails were delicious! Our waiter was very nice and I feltkind of bad for him because we had a large party and they left him to handle us by himself. Recently dined here for the first time. I ordered the Sweet corn bisque and the Prime Short Rib Stroganoff. Both tasted great.... The service was friendly and attentive. The tab with tax and tip (no alcoholic beverage) was just under $56. Read more
Came here for our first time while visiting California. The filet my wife had was awesome and well worth the $50 price! The... Ribeye I had was pretty good but not worth the $54. Also the brussel sprouts sucked. However the deviled eggs were delicious....I'm kind of annoyed they're out of the ones dessert I decided I wanted! I swear that has happened at every restaurant I've eatenat while in California! Read more
My fellow Yelp Elite daughter picked this place to have dinner and it was pretty good. Some things could have been better but my... food was good. The wings are very good with plenty of meat, the avocado ranch they serve with it is very good and a nice breakfrom regular ranch. I did not care for the deviled eggs. I thought they tasted old and reminded me of deviled eggs already madefrom a grocery store not homemade. I ordered the 16 oz Ribeye steak with mash potatoes. The ribeye was very good and cookedperfectly. The mash potatoes were also very good and tasted fresh and homemade. My wife ordered the Grille Salad which she saidwas very good and better than most places. Someone at my table ordered the truffle Mac-n-cheese and didn't like it. I took abite and it wasn't good. It had way too much garlic in it. So much you couldn't enjoy it. The service was ok but needed somework. We had a party of ten and the waiter really didn't check on us.
