Mid-September 2022 was the first time we came to this Corner Bakery for breakfast in a long time. When we come here, it's... always before 9 am on a Sunday, and we've been advised to park in the parking spaces near the restaurant. However, there is aparking garage shared with the nearby restaurant, and it has lots of parking spaces. We walked in and looked at the big menusdisplayed high above the order counter, and then placed an order. I ordered a bacon wrap, and R ordered steel-cut oatmeal. Drive to another corner bakery. Save yourself frustration. I try to cut businesses a lot of slack because things are difficult... right now. However, not only was our service yesterday terrible, when I responded to their survey, this specific store respondedfull of excuses. I usually go to the corner bakery at the marketplace and have never had these issues. I placed a curbsidepickup order. In my online order, it asks Plasticware? I checked yes. It also asks, made for? I entered the names for each meal.When I arrive to my curbside order 1) it was missing a drink I had to then request they go get 2) I find out when I get to mypicnic that they had not included the requested plasticware, straws, napkins, they hadn?t labeled the food with names, theymissed one of the kid?s cookies 3) none of the food was labeled with the names. When I answered this in their emailed survey, Ireceived an email from the store that I should have known I needed to ask their employee for plasticware because they postedsigns all over their store stating that it had to be requested. Keep in mind 1) I had already requested it in the order and 2)it was a curbside order, I stated it was a curbside order and it being a CURBSIDE ORDER how was I supposed to read the signsINSIDE OF THEIR STORE. Also, here?s what they offered me for ?free?, ?I already took your information down so when you orderwith us in the future you will receive a free cookie/sweet. All you need to do to redeem it is call the store and tell them thatyour last order was missing a cookie and they will throw one in for free.? So uhm?. you?re going to give me a cookie to replacethe cookie I BOUGHT and you?re going to call it free? It?s not free if I bought it and I never received it. And a free cookieisn?t worth the frustration of ordering from this store again. Yummy paninis and sandwiches! Located conveniently in the plaza next to Ralph's and Chase bank and a bunch of other stores. Food... portions were huge, so we had to take them big sandwiches to go. Cashier lady was kind of rude, no greeting or thank you. Shethrew the receipt and the ticket number down on the counter, didn't hand it over to us. Must've been the end of her shift lol. Read more
