I really don't have too much time to write reviews,. but for the betterment of this business I will. The food is top quality,.... full of flavor, and healthy as you may find for a tray/table type of restaurant.... the problem I have is with the Service, orlack thereof.. (perhaps its due to everyone being like around 20 years of age and don't put any importance on anything).... theCleanliness... or lack thereof... the bathrooms looked like a truck stop restroom... and the Maintenance, or lack thereof.. BOTHthe ICE and SODA machine have been broken for an entire week now.. it's keeping me from coming back and spending money here,.because I REALLY do want a cucumber mint lemonade with my meal. c'mon CAVA get your $h*t together. Picture is a half/half bowlwith 5 sauces... hummus, tatziki, spicy hummus, spicy vinegerrite, and a garlic sauce, with Pita Bread, (which one staff saidthey were out of,. until I had them ask around for some) and lemonade. I love the concept of Cava, it?s fresh ingredients and flavor but man?.. this Irvine location sucks. Not sure what happened with... the management but for the last couple months they are consistently running out of ingredients and don?t bother to take care ofridiculously slow moving lane. I hope something will change otherwise will have to look for different lunch spot. Read more
Really slow service. Today I went at noon and the girl helping me refused to restock her station and just told people she was... out of things rather than refilling. I only get 1 veggie/topping on my bowl, so it's pretty dissapointing when I can't have itand it's only 12 pm...please prep more ingredients if you run out at the beginning of lunch or train employees to restock theirstations during a rush. The food is good, but this is the third time I've come in and ordering has taken 25-30 minutes. The process could be streamlined... and made to be much more efficient. I recommend ordering online. Lastly for vegan folks, there is falafel, but it's the sameprice as meat options.... Read more
I am very disappointed. I live very far from Cava and today i got the chance to go because i love this place. BUT i placed an... online order and the person who made my order forgot half of the toppings that i chose, but i only realized later when i gothome. I really hope i have a better experience next time i go, SUPER disappointed. Read more
I decided to try this place out the other day. Upon arrival I noticed that everything looked messy! As I waited for about 10... minutes for assistance, I looked at what the employees were doing. The cook came over after I took these images and dumped riceinto the bowl causing rice to fall on the floor. There was also a guy working the register and touching food without changinggloves. A lot of employees were touching their face and clothing and still preparing orders without changing gloves. I lastedlong enough to see what I needed to see. Worst experience ever?. First, they only allow digital orders. But there is no way to know that until you drive there.... Restaurant description still says it is dine-in. Second, for a bowl order, they tell us the pick up time is one hour later?.. wehad to go home and drive back for it. Third, They forgot to put falafels in my bowl!!! My bowl became pure salad without anyprotein. Fourth, they forgot to give pita bread that goes with bowl. Fifth , they did not provide utensils. What else can theydo wrong? Read more
You?re better off driving 15 minutes to the one in Costa Mesa, you?ll still get your food faster. I came a second time thinking... they just had a some sort of issue first time.
