Stopped in on Saturday night 8/13. and we grabbed a seat right away. Put an order in for chips and queso and they were out to... our table pretty quick. Chips were fresh, but queso was real watery to the point it almost wouldn?t stay on chip. I would tryanother option besides queso next time. We ordered the steak, beef and pork taco plates with beans and rice for three of us. They arrived and were good. Portion sizes were big so each of us only ate 2 of 3 tacos, so we packed up the leftovers to headhome. Friendly and attentive waitstaff as well. Read more
Had such a fun experience at Tiki Taco! They were busy the night we stopped in, but Rachel took great care of us and made... awesome suggestions. Food and drinks are amazing, it's worth getting the flight so you can try all their specialty blendeddrinks; one flight was enough for the two of us to share, unless you're really trying to party. The slightly spicy shrimp tacosdefinitely had a kick to them. We'll be back! Read more

First and foremost walked in and seemed decent as it was my first time and experience with your restaurant. The menu looks great... overall. But my main reason for my review is the value for food. The tacos we ordered were very lack luster for the price. Thedelivery of food was very messy. My carne asada tacos had very little meat and toppings for what a taco should have. Mygirlfriend didn't receive a spoon with her side and we requested one twice. The service was pretty horrible while the restaurantwasn't very busy when we ordered and arrived. This restaurant needs to really step up the quality of delivery of food andservice. Prices need to reflect the portion sizes and quality. Also our table was dirty when we arrived also. 50¢ more to threeitems which were never changed in any way. Servers seemed to be untrained. Please do better! Especially for a local restaurant. Passed by the interstate factory restaurants and found exactly what I was looking for. Locally owned Tiki Tacos right in the... heart of beautiful downtown Iowa City. So good. Rachel was awesome, told her I was in need of a margarita. She suggested theflight. Great idea. She also suggested the nachos, best ever. Sat outside and everyone passing by wanted to know which margaritawas best. I will let you decide when you go. It's a hard decision. Read more
The staff was amazing! We went in on a Monday and had tacos and half price margaritas and Mai tai's. The food and drinks were... the bomb!! Try this place out when your downtown. Keep up the great customer service!! Each table has a charging station. Read more
Tiki Taco is always a great stop! They have a really interesting menu with interesting quirks like setting your food on fire... (upon request) as well as setting your drinks on fire (also upon request). The food here is really good for the price andeverything is very well seasoned and portioned. In terms of drinks they have a really nice variety of drinks with a wide rangeof prices! They also make a few virgin drinks if you are wanting a cocktail without the alcohol! Read more
