The chicken is absolutely fantastic very moist and delicious and full of flavor. We also had the white chocolate cranberry bars... and we ate it so fast I didn?t even get a picture of it. I highly recommend a spice and will be coming back on a regular basis,it does take a little bit of time to get your food because they make it fresh when you order it not like the other fast foodplaces. I took the long drive to this place because I heard so many people raving about the chicken. However, my experience was not as... good as others. Ours was overcooked and definitely over priced. Staff was very friendly. I was surprised at the prices as therewas no table service. Flavor of chicken was good. I will have to try the ace another time to see if my overcooked chicken wasjust a one off. The coleslaw is not a traditional coleslaw and has peppers and cilantro. The fries were incredible. Amazing little restaurant. Fresh made and the smell is amazing. We could smell the cinnamon rolls coming out of the oven while... we munched on our food. The portions are perfect. We will definitely be back again!! Read more

Ordered take-out with some co-workers around lunchtime. We had the 1-piece breast chicken, chicken strips, and Maverick... sandwich. All the chicken and the sides were satisfactory. I really enjoy their homemade fry sauce. The portion sizes are bigconsidering the price. The venue has lots of seating and bathrooms available. I would recommend this place to friends and willreturn in the future. Read more

My kiddos LOVED the chicken and fries and actually finished it. Super affordable and fast/fresh as well. My husband and I LOVED... our food. He had "the rooster" which was a chicken strip on a scone--all homemade in house with a yummy sauce. I had chickenstrips and the raspberry Whipple. I've also tried their cinnamon rolls, which are superb. Friendly family and service. We'll beback! Read more

Cute local joint I?ve always dreamed of! Cozy interior, warm servers, and the food is absolute country comfort food! I ordered... the Maverick with a med side of baked beans. The portions are huge! Beans were tangy and full of bacon, and the sandwich is achicken strip with the sweet pepper coleslaw and Mayo. The chicken tastes fresh and is so juicy! The coleslaw...is simplydivine. The combo of bell peppers, cilantro, and onion brings this chicken sandwich to new heights!! Definitely willrecommend! Review edit: Food is still amazing, however their timing is very slow. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when theyfirst opened, but several months in and you still are waiting at least 15-20 minutes for only a couple pieces of chicken (andthat?s with no line in front of you). Still worth going to, just be prepared for a wait. Read more

Definitely a family-run place, with pretty much all of them in there today, along with other staff. Our group intentionally... tried every item on the menu. Some were familiar. Others were not what you'd expect. For example, the potato salad (labeled onthe menu as unique) is sort of whipped or frothy, which is an interesting texture. Definitely try it. The cole slaw is fresh andcrispy--packed with onions and 3 different sorts of bell peppers. (Even if you don't like peppers, if you pick them out anddon't eat them the slaw itself doesn't really carry the pepper flavor.) The baked beans were amazing, so we were fighting overthe couple of cups we were sharing. While we were eating a couple of neighborhood kids came in, each with 50-cents, to buy icecream. They were disappointed to learn that the ice cream machine was out of order. Before they could leave, another customerpaid for the kids to upgrade to a cinnamon roll, which was a kind gesture. (I think Jill's then gave that customer a freecinnamon roll, so it was a day of kind gestures.) Read more
