Menu for ZAZA Espresso Bar and Gelato in Innisfil, ON

I bought couple of Ice creams there and was not happy with service I had received. However, the guy who prepared the stuffs for... me added a tip for himself without telling me and just asked me to tap my card! He also asked whether I need the receipt or notand as I always take my receipts; I noticed that he rewarded himself without telling me. By the time I realized that I wasalready came back to Toronto. (Too late) Have tried to call them more than 3 times and talk to a manager, but no one picked upthe phone! It's not about couple of bucks, it's all about principle; specially when it comes to a brand new branch! What ashame... Not recommended at all !!! Read more

Very poor customer service. Went in to get a few espressos, no customer at that moment. There were 3 staff members in front of... us at the espresso machine. All three of them did not acknowledge us, and had their backs turned to us for at least 5 minutes.We finally got our espresso and sat down, and one of the staff members had his feet on the cashier counter while talking to theother staff. Came in to this place today around 530PM to have small dinner with my daughter at Zaza "Friday Harbor". Came in to the Gelato... area as we want to just sit down on a much calmer space but the lady inside said the menu for the patio can only be serve at thepatio so ok, we went ahead to the patio already giving me an attitude.. Ordered there most expensive "steak sandwich" on thepatio menu, I was shocked to see how they trained their servers to just serve the sandwich wrapped and put down on our dirtytable! I had to ask one of the guys to clean the table and ofcourse while the guy was cleaning the liquid sprayed to myself andmy things, not being to picky but just to point out Clearly needs to learn how to properly spray the cleaning product to thecloth not to the table so your guests wont get sprayed on or onto their things. Hoping that the sandwich will make up for theexperience, but ofcourse not. They will not even ask how was your food/ experience or do you need anything else... 3 guyschatting and jamming away to their music on their phones while their patio tables are dirty and tissues on the ground. Theydidnt even have paper plates and cutleries at the patio.. staff werent prepared for their shift clearly or the restaurant didnot teach these kids how to work their shift properly! I really hope that the sandwich was cooked properly because I am pregnantand on my way home I was feeling sick to my stomach! Please train your staff/ KIDS PROFESSIONALISM, PROPER SERVICE and how tocook food properly to think that youre located in a "luxurious location" prepare your staff for success! They were not evenbusy, they were busy being on their phones, chatting away..definitely worth every penny of what the restaurants paying them.
