My first time trying out Campero because my Dad was telling me how good the chicken is & omg ???? I like my chicken soft and not... too crunchy and man this chicken is the perfect combination of perfect chicken to my liking and it?s not overwhelmingly seasonedlike Louisiana fried chicken it?s the perfect combination of spices to my liking and the texture is phenomenal. I ordered thebeans ???? rice ???? & mashed potatoes as well and those options were good but the beans were the best to me because of it?schili like consistency. Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience, two of items I was looking for my wife couldn't get so she was Cain upset; the... flavor of the chicken was very salty and to crispy, and coleslaw totally different flavor. Been to many Pollo Campero?s they are all very consistent, people are friendly and affordable for families. Place was clean,... freshness always on point and come hungry. As always, I order my fried chicken(original recipe) that?s the best. Yuca fríes,black beans and tortillas are a must. Oh yeah.. don?t forget the coleslaw as well and the pickled jalapeños. I got the 2 piece meal, the chicken(fried) was really yummy! Nice crisp to it. For the side I got the mashed potatoes and gravy;... it did not smell or taste good at all. The roll was good. Overall pretty good but the mashed potatoes awful!!! Read more
