First time coming here because he was craving some Nigerian food and it definitely hit the spot. He ordered stew, beef, and... Fufu. The menu is large for whatever you have a taste for. I was immediately impressed with the Vegan/Vegetarian menu and howlarge the selection was since it?s hard to go places and find menus that cater to us. I chose the tofu peppered soup. I alsoordered a Hibiscus ginger drink and it?s so yummy!!! Definitely coming back to try the Curry Tofu. Read more

I love my Nigerian good but meh this was on another level of poor. Menu is so full but most items was unavailable with no expect... date of availability. Service was slow, card reader wasn't working. Servers don't appear welcoming and they serve those theyknow first. I bought poundo yam and vegetable soup but the taste was flat just full of palm oil and vegetables. Location appeardecent but unorganized. Chairs all over the place and counter was rowdy. Cooks don't appear to use hand gloves or aprons. I metsome latinx who came to try Nigerian food for the first time. I wonder what they feel about it. I wish there will be animprovement across board. One star is generous. They need dramatic improvement. Read more

Good food takes time to be prepared. I came here first time in LA to try Egusi soup. Yes, I did wait 60 min but I was expecting... the wait. So I just walked over a block to a nail spa. The Egusi stew was delicious! So very flavorful, a bit spicy (like I likeit), and a lot of it. I had goat and chicken. I also did try the swallow even though I rarely eat carbs. It was soft and wentvery well with the stew. I also had the fried plantains. Everything was soooo very delicious!! Read more

In all of my 37 years on this earth and my 20 years of owning my restaurant @AJs2GO (Vegan & American Fast Food). Never have I... had Nigerian food. Growing up I had African food because my moms best friend was from Africa. I?ve seen all this and that aboutfufu so I was like I?m closed today let?s see what?s up. My mother an I went. She ordered Curried Goat & the Spinach Soup w beefan FUFu. I had the spinach soup w chicken (I don?t eat any red meat). We ordered at 3:50 the wait was very long we got ourfood at 4:45. All good they?re like my restaurant everything is made to order. No food sitting under a lamp or in a warmer. That?s great. The food was still hot with steam at 7pm when I was ready to eat (great packaging). The dish was amazing the fufutaste like a fluffy mashed potato. The soup wasn?t spicy like I thought it would be. And again being a restaurant owner I liketasting my food meaning I did have to add my own Salt n Pepper. My mom loved her food. I?ll order again. However, it?ll be acall in order and I?ll be sure to order extra fufu. They have lunch specials that I want to try. In all the place was great Iloved their accents and the food was good and I don?t say that often being a restaurant owner myself the food has to really begood or nasty for me to leave a review. This place was a hit. And yea I?d definitely recommend. Checkout my restaurant @AJs2GO Read more

Lol where do I begin. I just went in to pickup food less than an hour ago. First time getting their food and I was mad excited... to try their ewa aganyin since the beans itself has a special stew. On their menu, it says it comes with its special stew butlittle do I know, it was a regular stew. Biiigggg disappointment. If I?d known it comes with regular stew, I would have made itmyself at home. The stew I make at home even tastes better than this stew lol. I also ordered fried rice, which tastes more likeIndian rice because it?s filled with curry. The two Moi Moi I ordered look like roasted plantains and I paid $10 for the MoiMoi. I gave two stars only because my brother kinda liked the pepper soup I got for him. Yea never again. Only ordered herebecause I was going to use them for a catering next month but not going to happen. Don?t let the pictures you see on IG fool youlol because they definitely fooled me. We need better Nigerian restaurants in LA. This is sad. Had to come back and edit myreview. The food tastes like trash. It?s painful to eat. My husband is laughing at me that I should have made the food myself????. Previously gave two stars but I?m taking one star away. Complete waste of money. Read more

I love African restaurants but the way they do business is frustrating. Some days you call when they claim to be open. No one... answers. Some days you can call 5 times or more and won't get through to anyone. Finally got through to someone. They say callto put in your order, pick up will be easier. When I called at 4pm They put me on hold twice and after 15 minutes of holdingthey take the order and said to be there in an hour. I arrived at 5pm and had to wait another hour and 30 minutes to get myfood. It's was frustrating. Then when I got my order, asun, moi moi, gizdodo, egusi and fufu. The asun was literally $7 piecesof goat meat not spicy at all for $25. Ridiculously priced for that amount of food. The moi and egusi was good but after all thewait and frustrating customer service you don't even want to return. Please improve your business it needs it badly. For theamount of money they make they could get more staff to cut wait time, even a better eating environment. I'm sorry the restaurantis dingy and too small. Hence the constant take away customers. It was my very first time trying food at Adukes tonight! I went with my 9ja friend! I had a blast!! The food was delicious and... the customer service was wonderful! I got the Asaro with fried fish. I was hoping that I could get the beef suya with it.. but Icouldn't, and that was fine. No wahala. I'll just have to come back again one day and get the beef suya. But the meal was sotasty! I'd highly recommend this place!! And there's even traditional clothing for sell in the store too!! I'll be backagain! Blessings! ???? Read more
