We sat outdoors. Small patio in the front of the restaurant. Hostess was friendly. The waiter was friendly and definitely gave... us a lot of recommendations on what to eat .and specials. He ask us right away if we're visiting the city. He also notice thatwe were staying at Worldmark by our wristbands. We tried the stuffed peppers with shrimp. It was good. In addition we had thecombination fajita and the fish and shrimp with rice and beans. All very tasty. The Cadillac margaritas was delicious. Werecommend going to the restaurant. Great choice. They have happy hour menu from 3-6pm. Read more

Was there in October of 2017 and in 2022 they were still excellent. Love their peppers stuff with shrimp along with the rest of... their food. Service was excellent too. Just off the 10 so they are easy to get to. Great place if you're just passing throughtown. You won't regret it. Read more

Amazing customer service and friendly staff. Was greeted as I entered and was seated promptly. Asked our server for some... recommendations and he did not disappoint. The chiles gueritos were amazing. We had the especial del Mexicali and the meat waswell seasoned and very flavorful. The Campechana was very well made, the shrimp and octopus were fresh and well cooked. Don?tforget to get a Mexicali Chavela you won?t regret it. Definitely taking the whole family next time. This is a great Mexican dining experience in Indio. It can be crowded with a wait for a table. Than food was good with generous... portions. It is not the tourist experience of many other popular Coachella Valley locations. It?s favored by locals for genuineMexican cuisine in more of a hometown atmosphere. Read more

The service is decent, but the food is delicious. The only complaint I would ever have about this place, is that their shrimp... enchiladas are not as good as other Mexican restaurants in the Coachella Valley. Other than that, this place is a must try. Read more

Good food, good drinks, great salsa. Enjoyed our lunch here this afternoon on our weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Great start... with some spicy Margarita, Mexicali Margarita and strawberry slush Margarita...all were tasty and went so well with the killersalsa chips..very tasty salsa indeed. Thereafter we ordered their famous shrimp stuffed peppers, pork in red sauce, two burritoplate , shrimp taco and shredded beef taco. The peppers were flavorful and worth a try and so was the Pork in red sauce plate. The pork was very well cooked along with the sauce which was pretty good by itself too. Read more
