I got the standard wings, thank goodness I did. The other wings are hot, hot, hot...if you like extreme heat, it's right up your... alley! The wings are breaded nicely, and hold nicely! My first time at this restaurant was 10/09 on Sunday around 4. I placed an order for pickup and it was ready quickly. I ordered... the chicken and waffles. At around $22, it's expensive, I know. I almost talked myself out of getting it honestly but I'm veryglad I did. The breading on the wings were different in a good way and the mild+ option I went for was so flavorful. The waffleswere different too, in a good way. Rich dark brown color with a taste out of this world! This was the best waffle I ever had!I'm very happy that I decided to give this place a chance. I look forward to the future visits! The location was easy to find but harder to get to. Overall I enjoyed the environment and... loved that they have an outdoor space. The food was delicious with a nice sweetness, the mild flavor reminded me of tajin. I candefinitely see myself returning soon for more chikin. I have heard about the hype over this new spot in Fountain Square and earlier this week, I finally got to try their iconic... chicken out. (Turns out, this Indianapolis location is currently the only one outside of California! How cool is that?) We gota pretty large order of various chicken (spice wise). Let me tell ya, they aren?t joking with the spice levels. Several peoplein our party couldn?t deal with the raging spice in that chicken (I think we got some medium level chicken with our order.) Butit was super tasty they said! I myself however, got the chicken & waffles, southern style. The chicken was super tender &crispy, fried to perfection. The waffles were huge and very filling! I additionally tried their fries and house sauce and bothof that was amazing too! The sauce is very similar to Canes sauce honestly which I love! Customer service: Excellent/Hip Hop Music environment with banging music. Food: Hot and Fresh Coleslaw: has a Fresh onion base... flavor, so if you don't like onion you will not like it. Slaw offers a very balanced flavor to go hand in hand with the hotchicken. Wings: super Red and crispy with some sort of special dipping sauce. Visited this trendy, new Fountain Square chicken spot on a Saturday night --- we loved the west coast vibes of the restaurant.... It has indoor & outdoor seating available. Friendly staff who explained the ordering process & menu. My husband enjoyed chicken& waffles (available all day). He chose medium heat. I had loaded "guap" french fries! SO GoOd! This was a great experience! Location has an excellent atmosphere that is vibrant, staff were on point, food was delicious, and... the music was great. Great things takes time. The food takes a little time but who cares when you?re having fun. Things tonote, staff was great and really worked to inform me about the bar drinks and shots. There is soda and water, no other NAoptions but would be nice. Seating can be limited though I could see them working fast to clean turned tables on the fly. Ilike a little spicy, cashiers suggested one step lower than hot, it was perfect heat. We each got a different Sammy.
