I have had Turkish food before but got to try some new things I hadn?t had previously when I went for lunch at Usta Turkish... Restaurant for the first time. I was not disappointed. I started with the babganoush (a dish I have had before more than oncebut they day they didn?t have another appetizer I was more eager to try). For the main course I had mucver with salad. The lunchmenu includes dessert and while I don?t usually do desserts this was the most wonderful rice pudding I have ever tasted, lightlyseasoned with cardamom and cinnamon. I also had Turkish iced tea. This is a ?mom and pop? place in the literal sense. The ownerswork there, the husband cooking while the wife greeted and served. She told me her husband picked the flowers used to make thetea. I definitely recommend it and will go back. The fact that a local Romanian couple was at the next table, Turkey?sneighbors from across the Black Sea with a number of recipes in common, is also testament to the food. Read more

Excellent Turkish food. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Very good, clean food. Prices were good for portion sizes too!

What a great find in Broadripple. The food was delicious and very authentic and the service was friendly and with a smile! The... portion size was perfect that you could have an appetizer and dessert and not go away stuffed or hungry. The Turkish tea wasdelightful. I would say the only draw back for some would be they don't serve alcohol. Read more

We stopped in for dinner on a whim, and loved it! The woman working was so kind and took care of us, and everything tasted very... fresh. We got the appetizer platter to try a sample of everything, and especially enjoyed the hummus and yogurt. My partner gotthe beef kebab and said it was flavorful, and I tried the dumpling special with yogurt and tomato sauce ????I will be back! Read more

I had been curious about this place for a while and decided that yesterday was the day. Compared to many of the other Broad... Ripple restaurants yesterday, this one was noticeably empty. We ordered two of the lunch specials one gyro plate and one chickenkabob plate. The lunch specials come with an appetizer and a dessert. We got the Baba ghanoush and the lentil soup as ourappetizers. The eggplant dip was good--just the right amount of smokiness but could use a bit more salt. The lentil soup was abit of a disappointment; the flavors in the soup were a bit dull-almost watered down-compared to some of the other lentil soupsthat I had in the area. The meats for both dishes were great and perfectly seasoned. They come with a side of a basic side andwhite rice. Overall the lady serving us was warm and very helpful, but the food itself was pretty average. Read more

The food was very good, and the service was excellent. The lady who runs the restaurant makes you feel welcomed and right at... home. We really enjoyed the Turkish tea; it was subtle yet flavorful. We had the lentil soup for our appetizer; the house pitabread was so good dunked in it. We had the falafel plate and the chicken kebab. They came with a side of rice and a small salad. For dessert, we had rice pudding; I liked the cinnamon taste and that it wasn?t overly sweet. The food came out quickly, and bythe end, the plates were empty and our bellies full. The only critique would be that it took a while to get the check at theend of the meal, but all in all, our meals were just what we needed in this cold weather, warm and comforting. Read more

I love Turkish food so when I found a place basis reviews that Indiana had a nice Turkish place I jumped at the idea of a nice... Halal dinner. Street parking only and the place was deserted on a Sunday night, couldn?t find any service attendants around. Finally found a lady (guess she was the owner) and we ordered Turkish red Lentil Soup, Babaganoush and Usta Mixed Kebab. Thefood tasted good, I will not say wow and the portions left us asking for more. We were famished, an Usta Mixed Kebab for $24served on a single plate didn?t make the cut. Yet I give 4* for the service, otherwise I don?t think I will go back just causeof the price and food ratio. Read more

We lived in Ankara Turkey for 2 years and this restaurant was one of the most authentic examples of wonderful Turkish... Cuisine. This is a mostly scratch made family owned restaurant. We could tell it wasn't just store bought humus and the AdanaKebap was just as good as what I've had in Adana Turkey. The staff was warm and welcoming. As always kids are welcomed in allTurkish restaurants with a big smile. Take your family here and enjoy the wonderful Turkish food and amazing staff. Read more
