I love the welcome sign, or at least I look at it as a welcome sign. I'm a fan of french fries. Especially when they're fresh... hand-cut french fries. Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. I also like the fact that they have Sprecher's root beer ontap. The french fries I had we're good. Unfortunately they were out of the fresh hand-cut french fries for the night. My wifelike the tenderloin my two of my kids enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and the other had a quarter pound cheeseburger. Wedidn't get dessert but it was nice to see that they had a selection of ice cream available. I'm hoping the next time we go theystill have the cinnamon ice cream available. Read more

Would have given this a 5 star review but unfortunately the service stinks. I have been here several times and the food is... amazing but the staff is clueless about their product. I am gluten free and allergic to several items so I order veryspecifically to make sure I am good. The first time I was here I ordered a burger and fries with a gluten free bun. Burger wasgreat. Fries are breaded so I couldn?t even eat them. They didn?t offer a refund or anything just sorry. Went again today andgot a burger plain with gluten free bun and fresh cut fries because those are not breaded. Got a burger with everything andgarlic fries which I hate and I?m allergic to onions which was on the burger. They were frustrated that I would t take the onionoff and just eat it anyway. They finally got me a fresh one made and fresh fries but now I have wasted a whole lunch break to beunsatisfied. They Definitely need help in the customer service part of their job. Read more
The Mug has a great atmosphere. It's very nice in there and the food is very good. It's a good place to hang out with a few... people or even by yourself just for a lunch break. The fries are worthy of worship and I could go there just for the fries(although they need some salt). But I recommend this place for when in the area. My only issue was the chicken tasted burnt. I've been there a number of times and it's normally it's been a tasty and well cooked meal that I and the grandkids liked, but... the last time we ordered the onion rings, and once we got into the order, we found the rings were swimming in at least a 1/2 cupof oil. I've had them before and they weren't that bad, so maybe they had a bad day. I'll probably go back again, but I'll bea bit cautious. Read more
