Very tasty very friendly. I had a lunch meeting there and it was excellent spot for that. My friend left his man purse hitting... the server ran out to find me as I was talking to my wife on the sidewalk so that I could get it to him. I got a torta that wasa mixture of chicken and chorizo I would definitely recommend that. The people I was eating with got other things that lookedequally as tasty. Read more

TL:DR The best Tortas! Don't skip the Cafecito Some of the best Mexican Tortas I have ever had! The restaurant is in a... neighborhood just outside of downtown but fairly close the the Zoo. The exterior is a bit deceiving because it's hard to tellthat there is even a restaurant there, aside from a few neon signs hanging in the windows. The interior felt warm and invitingwith the tiles surrounding there counter and various Mexican symbols on the walls. The tortas tho we're on point. We orderedthe #1 and the #20. They were both delicious a the meat was a bit greasy but the fresh tomato, onion and avocado really balancedthe sandwich. Not to mention the slightly sweet fresh bollio bread that they use--it really made the sandwich cometogether. Don't forget the coffee though. The Cafecitio de Olla was a great pick-me-up after such a heavy meal. Read more

Very good. The titular dishes, tortas, are excellent, and aptly described by "barrio" style. The atmosphere also feels cozy and... quaint; as if it were established many years ago and passed down the generations. Tortas are sandwiches, not cake, as GoogleTranslate and your high school Spanish teacher Señor Richards would have you believe. The bread used is bolillo, which I'm notsure has a English translation. The meat used in the sandwiches are of a wide variety, and I haven't tried them all. My wife andI both have liked what we have ordered, and my co-workers sometimes go there for lunch. Read more
