Friday evening visit not busy probably due to high school football game's competition for customers. First location I've seen... with ordering kiosks. They call your number when shakes vs food ready. Typical good food quality cooked to order. Jad doublesteak burger, onion rings, strawberry milkshake. The onion rings are my fave and goto burger reliable. Restroom needs cleaningand some aeration eek or pipe work. Service courteous. Read more

We haven't been to Steak & Shake in a while & had seen some bad reviews & comments different places about bad service, dirty... restaurants, etc. But on Sat. it was convenient to where we were so we decided to give it a try. Walking in we were not happyto see the self-serve ordering kiosks as we don't like the impersonality of that business model. But we stayed, ordering &receiving our food was smooth, & as we looked around we were struck by how clean it was all over. As we ate we noticed anemployee basically doing non-stop cleaning - cleaning tables as soon as people left, picking up the trays & baskets, sweepingthe floor, etc. It was an enjoyable experience & we left saying we need to put this Steak & Shake back on our weekend rotationof lunch places. The food was decent but the service was not great. I waited a good amount of time before my order was even taken and then was... given the wrong order. I went in to have the order corrected (I was in the drive thru) and stood at the counter for another 10minutes before there was an attempt to fix the issue. Read more
Their price for a burger and fries is only $4.99 and that is very reasonable. The only thing is that they changed the happy hour... half price shakes from 2-5 to 2-4, but overall great prices. Read more
Just not like it used to be. Self service screens, smaller portion sizes, but higher costs. Food and staff were good though. New... screens did not allow us to use or earn our steak n shake rewards. Read more
I have been complaining about the downward trend I have seen in steak n shakes over the last few years, but when I randomly went... through the drive through during happy hour I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I joked that they wouldn't have shakes orthat they wouldn't have nutella but they did and it was made perfectly and FAST. I also got some fries and they were salty,fresh, and cooked perfectly. I don't think I've had steak n shake fries that good since '05. I was beyond impressed. I hope itwasn't a one off experience because I can't wait to go back and see if their Frisco melt is as mean as those perfect fluffyfries were. Read more
