We visited here Saturday to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend.\n\nThe apptizers---Elote Fries and Pimento Tots were both... outstanding. The breaded tenderloin was about as perfect as could be--crunchy breading, the meat had great flavor, and a greatpepper kick to the breading.\n\nService was decent, but not outstanding. We\'ll certainly visit again! Read more

Tried it with my husband and son and we all really liked it. They are closed two days a week (Sun and Mon) due to staffing but... our service today was excellent. The buffalo chips were really tasty. We all had various burgers and they were very good aswell. They are smash burger style which we prefer. I had tots my husband and son had fries and enjoyed them. Cheese sauce wasgood. Fry sauce is a honey mustard. I would recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely go back. Read more

Took my 2 kids (7 and 9 y/o) to Roots Burger Bar after church on a Sunday. We had popcorn as a free snack while we waited to... order. The kids menu/meal comes with a side, fountain drink, and ice cream! The boy loved the grilled cheese and the girlordered the buttered noodles. We all got tater tots that were so good. I ordered the burger of the month the State fair Jortsburger and was pleasantly surprised to find out that kids eat free on Sundays. The staff was friendly; the food was good, timely, and hot and the portions were large! We will definitely be back again. Read more

Behold, the Truth burger and fried pickles. I came to this joint during my visit here to Indy. I got the double because I... figured a single would be too little...well, I took half my burger home. The burger was greasy, cheesy and very good so ifyou\'re not down with that, I\'m sorry! It did come with a side of tots and a honey dijon sauce, which was good as well!\n\nThefried pickles were awesome. They are chips, not spears and I\'m not sure if they were kosher or not, regardless they were hot, crispy, and friggin BOMB. They weren\'t soggy nor was the batter flaking off. It came with a side of ranch and I believe sometype of horseradish dipping sauce, which I wasn\'t about, but man the pickles were good! Keep it up, yall. Read more

That was one of the best burgers I\'ve had! I have the Hoosier burger, a triple size. My kids had tater tots that came with an... excellent tangy honey mustard. I will definitely come back next time I am in town. Read more

Great burger! I had the Trippin\' Billies and it was so good. I think they are still working out a few kinks service wise, but... everyone working was giving it their all. So many things on the menu looked great. We will definitely be back! Read more

Scotty\'s spiritual successor is now in Indy. Roots is a little more toned down, but still has that old familiar feeling. The... family had the grilled cheese, cod sandwich, buffalo wrap, and pb&j burger. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich. We also orderedthe wings. Frankly, that was the only disappointing portion of the meal. Asked if we could get two sauces and we were given thesauces on the side instead of coating the wing. Also, one piece didn\'t seem to be 100% cooked. We all looked at the otherportion of chicken and they seemed fine. These ARE large pieces. I really enjoyed my Cajun chicken sandwich. Actually had a goodamount of canjun seasoning on it, as one would hope. Everyone else liked their meal and I got to taste a bit of the PB&J burger. Was very good. My dad\'s only comment was that the cod sandwich was good, but he wished it was a bit bigger. Overall, very goodand I\'m sure we will be back in the future. I am also glad to see Scott Wise back in the area! Read more
