Although it looks a little run down on the outside, looks can be deceiving. Our service was spot on for a busy Sunday lunch.... Their food is amazing! The breaded mushrooms were huge and the batter is fresh tasting. Breaded tenderloin was huge and very, very good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. I will return. Read more

If you are looking for a neighborhood hangout where the staff is friendly and the food is great, then you have found the place.... Nothing fancy here and nice wouldn't want it any other way. The tenderloin is the best I have had in the state! Read more

I had a house special which was a very good tasting steak with fries. The owner has kept their prices low and should consider... raising them a few dollars per plate to get caught up with inflation and their competitors. The hostess and staff were veryaccommodating and busy the entire time with happy customers while we were there. I will come back again in a "snap" whenever Iget a chance! Read more

To celebrate National Onion Ring Day I headed to The Pawn Shop Pub in Broad Ripple. I asked for suggestions and this was the... closest to where I needed to go today. I had a friend meet me for lunch. This is her go to place. She brought me beer cheesesoup from there for lunch this week and it was good. Today I ordered the breaded tenderloin and the coleslaw. We ordered a plateof onion rings to share. When the food arrived the onion rings were huge and they are served with a side of COCKTAIL SAUCE. Thetenderloin and the onion rings had the same breading. As you can see I opted out of a bun which I normally do when I eat atenderloin and get pickle and onion on the side. The tenderloin was the perfect thickness. Juicy and delicious. I was excited tojump into the onion rings and I wasn?t disappointed. They were cooked all the way through with the onion not being slimy orstringy. The breading had a great crunch and that cocktail sauce. However did that is a genius. I couldn?t stop eating them. Ijust drank water but my friend had a Bloody Mary. She said it was spicy. They have a full bar. This isn?t a fancy place, justa little neighborhood bar in what looks to be like an old Long John Silvers building. Last note the coleslaw was just a basicone. Nothing exciting. My friend also got the BLT which she enjoyed. What a great place to celebrate National Onion Ring Day.I?d say it was a success! To see more reviews join me on Instagram and Facebook at Jennifeasts.
