Celebrated my birthday there. Amazing dinner! Service was prompt and friendly. Sommelier on staff if you have questions on their... all Italian wine list. Pacing was great. The food was well prepared. Tiramisu is made in house and was my favoriteever! Located in the Alexader Hotel... a great find! We'll be back. Read more
CRG's tribute to Italian was a pre-pandemic favorite for us. Fortunately, they've come back as strong as we remembered. While... all the noodles are made in house, I've felt the strongest showings have come from the stuffed pastas: The lobster ravioli was aprevious highlight and more recently the tortellaci and agnolotti stole the show. We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we had such a great time. There were 9 of us in the party and our two... waitresses were almost impeccable with their service! They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations asit was the first time there for all of us! The atmosphere is really nice and the music they play will definitely catch your ear.Everyone in our party had such a great time! I will say, portions on the entrees were a little small. My entree was a decentsize, but others at my table were disappointed with the portions of their food once it did come out. Photo 1: Timorasso Thewaitress suggested this wine to me once I asked what was comparable to a Sauvignon Blanc. I really enjoy wine that is on the dryside and this selection was exactly what I was looking for! Photo 2: Montenegro Select Aperitivo On this day aperitivos werehalf off, so I of course had to try one! This had a nice, bold flavor to it and wasn’t too sweet at all. I tried others at thetable and I would highly recommend a date night around these drinks! Photo 3: Octopus The presentation of their calamari wasdifferent than I had seen before, but it was well seasoned and delicious. The sauce was great and all the garnishes really addedsome different flavors when paired with the calamari! Would highly recommend! Photo 4: Tagliatelle Alfredo To start, I added apieces of blackened salmon to my entre and I was slightly disappointed for numerous reasons. The fish did not come outblackened. It was almost as if it was lightly seared, and the middle was too mushy for my liking. The added piece of salmon wasan extra $30 on top of my $18 pasta. Of course I was expecting to pay extra for adding meat, but if I had know the salmon wasgoing to be so much I would have ordered a second appetizer - for comparison, a second entree would have even been less than theadded salmon. The pasta in itself was delicious and the sauce made you want to lick the plate clean, haha! Read more
CGR never disappoints. Nesso far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed dinner in the bar area. Josh, our server provided... delightful recommendations and made our first time experience one to remember! The octopus was cooked perfectly, as were thescallops. Their homemade focaccia is one to rave about as well. Apertivos and cocktails were all on point. Can’t wait to comeback! Read more
The space was beautiful, very much lined up with the decor of Hotel Alexander. The servers were very attentive and thorough. I... wish I remembered the name of our server - he was great and make really good recommendations. We tried a little bit ofeverything. Stated with crab appetizers, carpaccio, calamari. The relish next to the crab appetizers made it so delicious.Carpaccio was missing flavor. Ceasar salads were good proportioned and delicious. They have eggs on them, so beware if youdon't like hard boiled eggs. Short ribs, Mushroom pasta and seafood pasta were all a hit. Swordfish was fine, nothing special.Ravioli was flavorful. Portions are not big enough to share, so keep that in mind. Least favorite we're the drinks at P99.Have your drinks upstairs .. so much more creative and flavorful. For dessert we tried what I can best describe as butterscotchcreme brulé and it was a huge hit. Good dessert to share. Read more
Wonderful atmosphere and food. The dinner menu is short, focused and each dish is really well thought out and executed. Staff is... very friendly and helpful. It worth making a reservation as they can be in very high demand even during the middle of the week. Read more
